Orc Chief's Throne is an adventure for level 5 characters that is intended to be a bridge between Spelljammer Academy and Light of Xaryxis. It is designed to be finished in a single session or two.
When running Spelljammer Academy and prepping Light of Xaryxis I knew my PCs would be disappointed they didn't have their own vessel and were mostly just hitching rides on other people's spelljammer ships.
While this can be used separate from those adventures - and does give hooks to do that - its primary hook involves getting the PCs from the Academy onto their own vessel and then pave the way into Xaryxis smoothly.
