First of all Nice work! On the topic I also saw it as a place in World of warcraft, specifically in one of the dungeons in Blackrock mountain, upper city Blackrock Depths in "The Manufactory" . Although I think it's gnomes and mechanical golems and such. But World of warcraft does have tinkering goblins and steampunk 😄 although they're not the first to come up with that.
But you have some cool looking copper robot designs!

That is true, I am a big fan of warcraft, in some sense it did influence my tastes in fantasy, so that's probably where it came from
