My local tabletop store, Goblin Games, in Manhattan, Kansas was hit by a flash flood over Labor Day weekend. It happened in the middle of the night so it caught everyone off guard. About 300 people had to be relocated to higher ground, even more left without power and the rain isn't even close to being over yet. The six feet of mud and water has pretty much ruined everything in the store. And without flood insurance, they don't have resources to rebuild on their own. But despite of that, the owners are determined to start again for the sake of their tabletop community. They've been given a temporary place in our local indoor shopping mall but that isn't a permanent solution. It's more of a way to give their community a place to play while they figure out what to do next.
They decided to create a GoFundMe page for donations. And I hope to spread the word and hopefully bring in more outside help from D&D and tabletop community. So here I will include links to their GoFundMe page, their Facebook for pictures and videos of the damages, and an article about how important they are in local tabletop community. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
