FORGE Your BKGD - Origin Story Kickstarter - Book/Dice/Mat/Reference Cards

Welcome to your younger years, related to experience, family, phobia's, schooling and some small (or large) adventures before you get to your first level.

As a player in an RPG, you want your character to be more than a boring list of stats. Who was your character before they joined this party? Their experience and past? Who is their family? It’s easy to keep falling on the same tired tropes like “My parents were murdered and I was raised by a kindly NPC who just recently died” or “I grew up on the streets”, or the ever-favorite “I have a dark and mysterious past which I don’t talk about” (aka I didn’t create a backstory).

Not everyone is a weaver of tales, but you can still gift your character a well-developed past and present to take them into their adventuring future! Forge Your BKGD (Background) is an amazing tool that does exactly that. Supplied with over a thousand options and charts that you can roll on - or DMs can select from - that will answer these background questions. These detailed charts will aid in fleshing out background details (e.g., family, important events, etc.), inspiring you to take your character to the next RP level!

This Kickstarter provides a large spiral bound book, class reference cards, 7 RPG Fire Dice, a new 5e24 playmat with helpful rules to play the game and roll your dice.
