Basically a new PHB with several Lotr classes / subclasses, fitting races and custom character sheets.
Several region guides with lore and some adventures. From what I've seen so far, most seems to be focused in the Hobbit movies... Mirkwood, Lonely Mountain etc.
also like new classes as in, plural...multiple new potential playable full classes
All the standard classes are completely replaced, with the new ones being: Scholar (lore/healer), Slayer (Barbarian), Treasure Hunter (Rogue), Wanderer (Ranger), Warden (Bard), Warrior (Fighter). Lord of the Rings is a very low-magic setting, so it's themed as such. There are no magic-using classes, and magic items are as rare as artifacts in standard 5e.
I was just thinking... since Cubicle 7 is rumored not to renew their license maybe dndbeyond could pick up those rules? :D
That's not how licensing works. C7 owns the copyright on the rules, while Sophisticated Games has the rights to the setting for tabletop games. So without a deal between C7 and SG, those rules will not be published in any form... Even if another company licenses the rights from Sophisticated Games to make new Middle Earth content, they wouldn't get the rights to what Cubicle 7 made without C7 also licensing it out, which they can't without a deal with SG... so any new licensee would have to start fresh. If some 3-way license could have been worked out, then I don't see why C7 wouldn't just keep licensing from SG directly and publishing new stuff.
Although C7 was a bit limited in creative control - if it wasn't in the books it wasn't "in the setting", and so they couldn't produce new material that explored beyond the published literature.
There is currently a Humble Bundle with a whole lot of Lord of the Rings D&D sourcebooks available.
There are several adventures, additional rules, custom classes and lorebooks included.
I just thought some of you might want to know about it. :-)

That's why I'm here. I'm excited to try it out.
The new bundle will be the last.
Crucible 7 isn't renewing the Middle Earth license, so will no longer produce these books, and both physical and digital sales will cease.
Get them while you can!
I didn't realize there was another bundle active again. :D
I just updated my original post with a direct link to the new bundle.
How are these for reskinning into a D&D setting?
I just read the players guide so far, but that seemed to be quite good.
Right now I am trying to convince my friends to give it a try.
So wait I can potentially get all of those books for like...15 dollars
what’s all in it
Marvarax and Sora (Dragonborn) The retired fighter and WIP scholar - Glory
Brythel(Dwarf), The dwarf with a gun - survival at sea
Jaylin(Human), Paladin of Lathander's Ancient ways - The Seven Saints (Azura Claw)
Urselles(Goblin), Cleric of Eldath- The Wizard's challenge
Viclas Tyrin(Half Elf), Student of the Elven arts- Indrafatmoko's Defiance in Phlan
Everything listed on the HumbleBundle page.

Not all heroes wear capes
unless you are wearing a cape right now and I just can't see it
Full of rice, beans, and bad ideas.
I am also bewildered. What do you get for $15? All that in hardcover?!!
Cum catapultae proscriptae erunt tum soli proscript catapultas habebunt
You get the PDFs, no hardcovers.
Does this import into dnd beyond easily?
Not at all. Those are just PDFs.
The bundle is only available for eleven more hours, if someone stumbles over the thread.
