Recently, I've been seeing a lot of negativity surrounding dnd. And with this whole Orcs are a racist depiction of black people B.S going on I've had enough. I want to highlight what makes DnD so amazing. I want people to share #WhatDnDMeans to them. Share stories about how the game helped you in real life. How it made you new friends through the game online or at a game store. The positive and inspiring stories about why DnD and it community is one for the best and most kind and caring communities in the world.
So, what does dnd mean to me? It has helped me stay connected with friend and reconnect with friends. It has helped me open up through going to adventures league every week. Improve my leadership skills through being a dungeon master. It helped me explore who I was through the characters I created, and let's me realese my pent up creativity. It has even helped me with darker moments like depression and suicide. This game means a lot to me, I love this game and will support it until I die.
I doubt this will go anywhere, but, I wish that more positive things about dnd trend and we ignore all the people who try and bring negativity into theach community.
