I make a miniature model of the construct i want out of ice and tiny pieces of the appropriate materials, and place it in the model city. the nanotechnology swarms over the materials I provided, and start making the thingy. this thingy is 1: a very advanced security system for this part of the lab, which when the scientist awakens I will ask to buy, and 2, A lot of body armor for the homunculi. that cleans out all the non-money non-key things in this bank section, though, so I'm down to 7 bank sections of resources, oh my.
I see... do you think you can set the nanotechnology to automatically spread underground without significant risk of it eating the world? the additional resources will be useful, and it will allow us to act anywhere it's spread to on short notice. alternatively, try to figure out how to upload your mind to a computer, and have the nanotechnology mostly focus on making computronium.
"I could download my consciousness here, but you seem to disapprove of such actions..." if by here it means onto a lab computer, i don't say anything in particular about that, but if it sounds like it doesn't, i ask what it means by here. I then suggest they find somewhere deserted in the world, or a mountain or something, and have the nanotech eat that. also, if the nanotech spreads in thin veins, it should still be safe to spread, i believe?
If the process is non-destructive, I approve- that is, if its main brain will remain intact. i can buy the computer later. if the main brain would not remain intact, I suggest they focus on finding a mountain for their nanotech to eat instead. the nanotech can make a computer with the mass of said mountain if they need it.

Oboy. I put on my seatbelt and brace for impact.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
I greet the Homunculus, and ask it to summarize its work when I was gone and also what just happened.
So wait what happens with le goblin?
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Mmmmmmmmmhmmmm. More popkornn.

I pop out of the goblin's head and cast greater restoration on it.

Then I use power word heal, as well as my own custom spell, cure hangover.

I start building a cloning machine.
