"It is worth a shot, I believe." Quixote chimes, rolling his 'r's. "I do not know where it is, but maybe you could lead the way?"
“Yeah sure, it’s right behind the tavern let me show you..” and he starts walking off back in the direction of the tavern, getting lost and heading directions through the identically woods.
"I can see you! Lead the way!" Quixote calls up to the canopy above, following Darklis back to the tavern.
Following back to the tavern you eventually reach the large building, where then the Elf leads the rest of the way. After a minute or so you find yourself looking at a wall of thick bramble-y vines ten feet high blocking your path. It stretches on for a while in either direction, but seems to eventually curve away and go more away from you.

Verdell, who has been following along silently, and somewhat absently, will now ride around the ring of thorn-walls. Perception to see through the thorns, if that's possible: 15

The plants and vines are wound so tightly together that all you see through the thorns, is more thorns. Riding all the way around does reveal an “entrance” or break in the wall of thorns that leads into the thicket, with more wild thorny walls branching in all directions. It appears to just be a thorny maze, but as you look around corners the thicket appears overgrown and tight. Your horse won’t fit through and even on foot it’s going to be a tight squeeze.
No, the thick blanket of trees is currently blocking it, but you could lower your self down onto the top of the maze and walk on it. You could also climb in the branches of the trees with some difficulty

Arthilas, being as trained as he is, wants to climb in the branches, maybe he can get a view of the maze in this way to aid his friends.

Athletics, right? That would be a 19.
Yeah athletics, you easily clamber up the tall tree to the branches awkwardly suspending yourself above the painful looking thorns. You can see most of the maze, but moving to see the rest risks falling or being jabbed by sharp thorns. At the center of the maze appears to be a pear the color of an apple with glowing peach fuzz.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(I get it Helmut. School's been keeping me pretty busy as well.)
Zuil will attempt to follow Arthilas as he climbs the tree.
Athletics: 13
Could she use Acrobatics here? If so: 7
Oh, sorry I missed these. Either way you try unsuccessfully to clamber up the trees. As you claw your way up you lose your footing and fall into a patch of the brambles taking 16 piercing damage!

If they are lost, Darklis will activate her gem flight and fly up above the trees, to try to get a glimpse of the tavern.

Breaking through the canopy of leaves before you it doesn't take much to spot the tavern poking out of the leaves.
She calls down to the others, "Can you all see me? I have spotted the Tavern. It would be best if you could follow me."
“Ok!” Agnomally begins to follow Darklis.
Only spilt the party if you see something shiny.

Darklis will lead the group back to the tavern.
Zuli groans before following the Dragonborn.

Sorry I haven't been active on here lately; I've been pretty busy. I also won't be online a lot, what with school and such.
Okay, back to it...

(Can Darklis see into the maze from in the air?)

Darklis will land on top, towards the middle of the maze, then try to pull the branches away so she can see the ground.
