This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Woo!
Random symbol explanation time (since I wrote the above display logic for internal debugging rather than end-user display, so it isn't exactly user-friendly to look at):
If the number has a * after it, it indicates that result was dropped (ignored in the final result).
If the number has a ! after it, it indicates it was either a critical or a fumble (or both).
If the number has a $ before it, it indicates it was a success.
If the number has a # before it, it indicates it was a failure (negative success).
The initial expression shown is normalized, so if you roll 1d20ad, it will show in the result as 1d20.advantage() -- the two expressions are equivalent but the version displayed by the roller is the "canonical" version.
The format is expression => die results => final result. Parenthesis are added where needed to make things group correctly, but excess parenthesis are stripped out.
If you see any issues, report them here. If it's an issue with my stuff, I'll take care of it. If it's an issue with the DDB side of things, I obviously cannot take care of it :)
Unless Hartless changed them, the error messages are probably not all that easy to understand should you mess something up.
Guess I'll leave it on for now just to finish testing out the different rolling functions, but we'll need to fix that quoting / editing issue before y'all can use it in PbP. I know what I'm doing this weekend now.
I freaking love you! All of you who has made this forum and DDB. Seriously, making our lives better just by caring. You beautiful mofos! There' s some of us that roll our dice on Discord and we all were talking about how these forums have made our lives better and more awesome by connecting all of us D&Ders around the world. I'm playing with a people in Chicago, Indonesia, Europe, California...it's insane. You have made our lives better. Thanks. And thank you ahead of time for the dice roller you will be working on this weekend. We ALL (it's so hard for me to express myself without swearing but...) effing appreciate it!

"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

You quoted Hartlessd20, which has a 2 in it. I'm counting it. \:D/

And yeah, it's awesome to see the dice roller finally becoming a thing. I had a solution for the editing posts thing, but apparently it needs some additional backend work before it can be used. Quoting completely slipped my mind (whoops)
Well, thanks for helping. I know our Redboxes are over worked making this for us. Anything to make this place better, I'm all for!

Roll the dice and play the game, I’m not here to listen to your politics.
“But this isn’t right. You’re meant to charge in, sword drawn, banner flying-that’s what all the other knights did!” “Yeah, right before they burst into flame.”

I use summon instrument to summon my kettle drum, hold it overhead like Donkey Kong, and chuck it at the nearest kobold.

*shrug* we have infinite lives. Shoot us down and we pop up again, kinda like weeds. Except less undesirable. Probably.
