No, Grisknarael the Sly was far more of a coward than Thauraeln the Bold, even though Grisknarael was Thauraeln's father. Grisknarael usually resorted to subterfuge and deception in order to spark a war between the dragons and the giants, while Thauraeln fought openly and honorably, and tried to put an end to the Dragon Wars.

In my campaign setting, the elven homeland continent is beyond the Western Sea of the main continent. That's where the location comes from.
