also i am a Veteran DM, i've been DMing for 7 years and by army logic you only need 4 years of service or be discharged to be a veterian, so i suppose if i stoped DMing i would be a Veteran(After DMing for 4 years in highschool i took a break so i suppose i am a Vet but i just came back)
