Granted you lure Jefar back into his bottle and you are both trapped forever. Meanwhile the world suffers from the lingering persistent effects of his magic.

Modrons are allowed back into the thread(if you abbreviate modrons you end up with mods. The genie doesn't care if you meant moderators. The genie hates you and wants you dead). They kill everyone for not being perfect beings of law. Admit it, you've all jaywalked at least once in your life. 

(Side note: if a paladin jaywalks, do they get their powers revoked?)
