Might I recommend getting a used ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6, I have one that I got for $325 and I love it. I dual booted it with Windows 11 and Ubuntu, upgraded to a Crucial P310 512GB Gen 4 NVMe, put a bigger battery in, and replaced the thermal paste, all by myself. This thing can even run some games relatively well on both Windows 11 and Ubuntu, and it hasn't ever crashed on me. I got it because I am going to high school next year and my school is BYOD, but right now I mostly use it for gaming, web surfing, D&D Beyond, 3D modeling, and game and application development.
