I made a Mafia game while I was away if anyone wants to play or if they want to use it to host their own Mafia game. I dont know how much I'll be online so if someone more active wants to take it and host it themselves it would really make my day. Thanks
Moderators, if I put this in the wrong forum, please remove it.
Base game number of players needed: 10. (1 Jailer, 1 Doctor, 1 Accuser, 1 Murder-Hobo, 1-2 Mafia, 4-5 Townsfolk.)
Advanced game number of players needed: 25. (1 Jack of All Trades, 1 Thief, 1 Sheriff, 1 Jailer, 1 Doctor, 1 Accuser, 1 Twin-set [2 players], 1 Murder-Hobo, 1-3 Mafia, 13 Townsfolk).
The Twin-set doesn't need to be used in every game, but that also removes the role of the Ghost of Vengeance. The Jack of All Trades doesn't need to be used in every game. The Thief doesn't need to be used in every game. The Sheriff doesn't need to be used in every game.
The Jailer, Doctor, Accuser, and Murder-Hobo must be used in every game. Each game must include at least one normal Mafia.
Nobody can be voted out on the first day and no kills will happen the first night.
Jack of All Trades: One time, the Jack of All Trades can protect someone else like the Doctor. One time, the Jack of All Trades can put someone in jail like the Jailer. One time, in the entire game, the Jack of All Trades can kill like the Mafia, the Jack of All Trades can kill a Mafia. If the Jack of All Trades kills the final Mafia, the Townsfolk win.
Thief: The Thief can take their action on the first night, stealing 1 other person's role, other than the Sheriff's. If the Thief doesn't take their action on the first night, they become a normal townsfolk. If a person's role is stolen by the Thief, the Thief becomes that stolen role and the person becomes a normal townsfolk.
Sheriff: On the first night, the Sheriff can, (they don't have to), choose one person. The person that the Sheriff picks has their role revealed to the Sheriff. The person will not know if their role was revealed to the Sheriff. After the first night, the Sheriff acts like a normal Townsfolk.
Jailer: Once every other night, starting on the second night, the Jailer can, (they don't have to), place another player in jail. When you are in jail, you can't take your nighttime action, (if you have one), and you can't vote the next day. However, you also can't be killed. Should the Jailer and the Jack of All Trades pick each other on the same night, both will go to jail. The Jailer is not allowed to jail the same player if they have already jailed that player two nights before.
Doctor: Once a night, the Doctor can, (they don't have to), choose another player to protect. The Doctor can only protect themselves once in the entire game and not on their first turn. When a person is protected by the Doctor, that player can't be killed.
Accuser: Once in the game, the Accuser can accuse another player of being the Mafia. If the Accuser correctly picks a Mafia, the Mafia is automatically voted out of the game. However, if the Accuser is wrong, the Accuser is voted out under the pretense of a Mafia.
Twin-set: 2 players will be placed in a Twin-set. The only way for the Twin-set to survive is one of the twins must kill the other. The twins will have to talk with each other to decide who dies. The Twin-set can survive for 5 game days and nights before, if neither come to an agreement or one is killed, they both die and no ghost will rise.
Ghost of Vengeance: The Ghost of Vengeance is the twin who is killed. That twin gets to choose 1 player to take to the Graveyard with them for 1 night. The Ghost of Vengeance doesn't need to take a player right away. They can wait until later on in the game so that there is a higher likelihood of someone in the Graveyard knowing who the Mafia(s) is/are. During that time, that player can't use any actions but also can't be killed. When the night is over, that player will rejoin the main game with potential information.
Murder-Hobo: The Murder-Hobo can kill 2 nights in a row, starting on the second night. (They don't have to kill.) On the fourth night, the Murder-Hobo will not take an action. The Murder-Hobo can kill the other Mafia. If the Murder-Hobo kills the final Mafia in the game, the Murder-Hobo replaces the Mafia they killed. If all the normal Mafia are voted out, the Murder-Hobo will become a normal Mafia.
Mafia: Normal Mafia. Can kill every third night starting on the fourth night. (Doesn't have to kill.) Can't kill the Murder-Hobo.
Townsfolk: Everyone left over.
Nobody knows anyone else's roles other than the Twin-set.
When you are in the Graveyard, you can only talk to others in the Graveyard. If you were brought to the Graveyard by the Ghost of Vengeance, you will leave the Graveyard in the morning and rejoin the game. However, when you are in the Graveyard, despite not being eliminated from the game, you can't leave the Graveyard until the night is over. One warning will be given if you leave the Graveyard before the night is over. If you fail to heed the warning, you will permanently join the Graveyard for the rest of the game.
Side option: If you are a ghost and wish to message in the main game, you must put your message in a spoiler and have it be a color like green or blue. Not the black text color. You are a ghost. Also, no potentially useful information should be shared in this way. Players, basically you can read what the ghosts are saying but please don't use what they are saying to influence the game.

Question: If the sheriff doesn't reveal someone on the first night, then can they just not reveal after that? Or is it just once per game in general?
