I'll cast confusion on the Eishalon of Folly by attempting to recite the entire, uncut screenplay of the Film "The Room."
The Manifest of Folly rolls Savvy. the eishalon has 4 sync, 7 core, and 13 rise. rise is always applied, so really it's just a roll from 4 to 7. 4 it fails, 7 it succeeds, 6 it succeeds, 5 it maybe succeeds. 6 +13 , the manifest does not get confused.
you roll potcount... 24. you roll pot luck 24 times... most of the pots are just full of dirt and mold, but 10 of them contain shining green crystals, and one of them has this... presence around it... it feels more significant then the others, but the lid is stuck on tight, and you don't know if you can get it open without damaging whatevers inside, if there is anything inside. maybe it's a trap, though?
EISHALONTURN! The Eishalon rages forwards, clawing at the shopkeepers stall as it passes (though the aura of OVAHEAL protects it. overheal is now depleted), then biting at a retainer of folly - it rips off some of the regenerating hp chunk- and punchs off the last bit of the regenerating HP chunk.
I continue tunneling under the battlefield, setting up lights as I go.
4.5 /20 (+0.5 for cave clear) you tunnel along happily, when you notice the stone has changed, becoming slightly harder, and there's little gaps along it... is this a brick ceiling?
still, there's a chance, right? he might like, trip and fall on the button or some such. ...we'll see.
The Retainers of Sanity charge at the manifest of folly, all thinking about the same thing since their experiences have few differences: next time they get a new retainer, they'll defect to the AG side and get the hound to attack it instead of them. they haven't given any outward indication other then their fervour, but somehow you can tell. don't question it. if you can't convince them soon, you may have a problem... anyway, rolls. both fail, and the last is paralyzed so. (paralysis fades) you feel a dark foreboding about next turn... eh, it's probably nothing.
The Manifest of Folly fire a burst of purple, which slams into... the faithful dog! it does- Wait what. the manifest rolled a One on the damage roll. ...since that should do something different from 10 or 11, the faithful dog takes (1-11) damage, or, expressed differently: the Dogs HP is 10. when you take damage, the attacks damage is subtracted from the health. this attack does (1-11 ) damage. so, 10- (1-11), so 10- (-10), so 10 +10. Dog health has been doubled! it appears the retainer of sanity's plan has a flaw or two, but you should still dissuade them. The Godmodder, confident in his Eishalon and servant of the , reaches across space and plucks something off its path. a irridescent tear appears above his hand. through falls a book, which he holds for a moment before it burns into ashes, burnt by twisted cyan flame. then, he tosses a scrap of paper back through the rift.

I go to the yellow/green thing, teleporting if I have to.
I also check my questbook.
you teleport across another small gap (-4 mana) - one you could jump across, but don't want to risk- and manage to not vomit at the stretched view. you're getting the hang of this! you find a city, of sorts. the ground here has less of the blood-red flesh-material, though there is still some. most of it is either the yellow of sandstone or the same green as the gems you hold. near the edge, there are two "trees", large crystals of green hanging down from their branches, the purpose unknown. there's a broken down mansion, made of sandstone as well, and slowly being overtaken by bloodflesh. there are large holes in the walls as well. Further along the path past the trees, the colors shift further towards green, sandstone becoming rare. the floor is forged entirely from it, as are the walls. however, the layer is very thin in most places. interestingly, the floor beneath the green sheets is almost devoid of bloodflesh. you don't see anyone around though...
You check your questbook!... what questbook? it's not in your inventory or anything. you then see a scrap of paper fall to the ground in front of you. it reads "stop reading the script" in cyan. ...i think the godmodder doesn't like how much reading the metaphorical script is helping you, and is making it less applicable. in other news, in case you didn't notice: in the inventory image, your compass displayed as pointing in different directions in easy-access and in main-inventory. this is because it doesn't work as a compass.
Also, i made a typo last dop. it was supposed to be Lockbox, not Locked box.
Dammit Godmodder. I maybe try and grab some of the weird crystal things off the tree, then I head to manshun.
you reach towards the crystal, and try to pull it off. you can't: it's bigger then your whole body! you manage to snap off the tip, when suddenly your vision distorts with a green fizzle. when you can see clearly again, the crystal is intact, but slightly dimmer. you enter the mansion. its already been ransacked, but there might still be some odds and ends, right? you're at an intersection, but there's nothing interesting visible in any direction. ash and decay, everywhere... [no change to status aside from mana.]
I continue digging, trying to find the source of the bricks.
you soon do, breaking through the ceiling into some sort of chamber, lit by fire. several people in purple robes stand on an underground balcony watching something (you can't see from this angle), but one of them turned towards you at the sound of your digging. you've been noticed! Sickly green wisps of smoke are visible within the chamber as well. 5.5/20
I'll also tell the Retainers about all the bad atrocities the Godmodder has committed, and how we all did little wrong. I obviously skew my descriptions of OG entities in the positive, and the actions of AG entities in the negative.
The Retainers are doubtful... what about the masterwork guards? first you killed one, then slaughtered another while the third tried to bring him back to life. then, the first went half insane, and you walked off without a second thought. it doesn't think you're giving the whole story... eishturn 1: the manifest idles
