Soul eating? Hmm. Sounds familiar. I pick up my scarf, seeing as it is both incredibly long and incredibly wide, and fashion it into a blanket of sorts, laying it down onto the ground. Then, I concentrate my soul energy on the scarf. The blue corner of my triangular face lights up, as the pupil within my eye transforms into a similar hue. Thus, I use Soul Release: Breath of Life on the blanket. When triggered, flip a coin/roll a d2. Landing on heads/1 causes the ability to fail immediately. Landing on tails/2 causes the ability to activate, animating the object that it was cast upon.
If the ability fails: I sigh, picking up my scarf and wrapping it around myself.
If the ability works: I push the newly animated scarf spirit towards the almighty antagonist, and present it to him as a "soul". Of course, it isn't my soul, but it's a soul nonetheless. Granted, a weak soul at that, but if he truly possesses a hunger for these things, he wouldn't complain. It is a free soul, after all, and I mainly want to see what occurs to the blanket after he's finished with it. You know, experimenting could yield unexpectedly pleasant results.

what do you give to a man who has everything? nothing.
After walking into the forest for a bit, Gene has realized that all the trees look the same to her. She is now lost.
"... Guess I should have marked the path I followed or something."
Gene thinks to herself for a bit and decides that she should get a few more materials for the potion since she is a bit lost. She decides to cast Arcane Eye to increase her range of view and then head back towards the river and over the bridge. Those zombies needed to be inspected a little more closely after all.
Those who are privy to the inner workings of her mind would know that nothing else matters when she is focused on something. In this case, it's the little potion she is putting together.
But... But... I thought you said it changed to an aura? If it isn't an aura, and I have to use my action, it's basically a glorified action used to buff. Anyway if it is not an aura, I drain the pos magnet's health, and give that drained health to the neg magnet. Otherwise I just bloop the staff to drain helth.
clarification has already been given. you drain the positive magnet's health (23 damage) then heal the negative magnet an equal amount. all in all, 46 damage.
The fighters launch at each other with ferocious speed, smashing into each other for the sake of competition, to show who is the smash champ. A true brawl, with items spawning occasionally to make things more interesting.
Done with her gathering, Gene heads back to the forest and into the foliage. She is still looking for a good rock to sharpen the shiny black shard because that is what she seems to need to do. 21/40
with the water and wood dealt with, you gain an additional 5 charges! the intended answer for the wood gathering was supposed to be to collect the trees the voidshard cut down before slamming into your shoulder, since they had already been cut down. this would have netted a variable exactly-what-i-was-thinking-of bonus of probably like 5.
you find no good rocks as you return to the foliage. you are unlikely to find any regardless, as the black shard is made of a very hard material- it would need a similarly strong, or magical, stone to sharpen.

You roll a two. the Godmodder proceeds to absorb the blanket's soul. the blanket proceeds to dirty and wither, before starting to fall apart, while the Godmodder channels it into an action. it is nowhere near sufficient for a permanent heal nor power boost, nor a standard GM action, so he merely aids crusher 49, progressing the construct by 6%. he also notes that it's not quite a hunger for souls specifically, just power, but souls have proven an effective method.
he then produces a contract for you. in exchange for him allowing you to act as his ally and treating your entitys as AG if you make such, you must agree to aid him, and give him any entitys you have summoned if you betray.
if you refuse, he will treat your entitys as being OG or N regardless of your espoused loyalty.

iron is standard. not particularly good or bad for magic, otherwise like rl iron.Goldenrod: seems unimpressive... it acts like a metal, between iron and gold in strength. it's meh at magic, near as you can tell, and is about as good for building as iron, the main downside being higher rarity. ruby: Strong, angular. acts like a real life ruby. best for small areas under considerable pressure due to small size and higher strength. has a slight magical affinity, towards fire, as well as focusing diffused energy. Test Results for shadow crystals: Relatively brittle, though not so much as to weather away from the elements before this battle's done. much easier to cut along cleavage planes, resulting in thin sheets of crystal if struck with force. has a strong affinity for magic, but most powerful spells will cause it to shatter due to how brittle it is. a bad idea for building due to its many-times mentioned brittleness.Starmaterial is untested, but seems powerful based on the elemental's staff. not Eishalon related.

Yes, sure, after all, I have nothing to lose. I sign it with my name, which is, of course, "Jack Mundane", and my signature, which is "Jack Mundane" written in a more mundane way. As I see it, a stronger soul, or plethora of weaker souls, would allow the soul eating people killer to carry out extra actions. Therefore, I must find a way to exploit this, or else I am not Jack Mundane, the mundane exploiter.
First, a few questions, if you will. The first of these being entities. How do they function, what are their properties, and the focal point of this investigation - what are the ways to create them? May I simply will one into existence? Of course, not every player will be able to generate beings with their release, simply because they lack one.
Next, I look around my location, and attempt to locate a few rocks. If these rocks are found, then I will activate phase one of Body Release: Abbadon's Pit. The red corner of my triangular face lights up, as a giant gaping pit opens up in my chest. I attempt to stuff as many rocks, junk, as well as other such things, as possible. Then, I close the hole, and prepare to activate phase two. It is important that I know approximately how many things I have managed to absorb and what they are.

After taking a good look at the horde, Gene decides she wants to add the magey looking zombie to the list of potion ingredients just to see what happens.
At this point in time, there should be enough evidence that she is some sort of deranged alchemist, but it should be helpful to explicitly state it for those who haven’t realized yet.
Anyways, she makes her way over the bridge while not getting too close to the group while maintaining a casual and friendly demeanor. She then casts Confusion onto the horde.

There is a significant portion of empty space within the update. This is suspicious, a possible point of fear and frenzy, the way the world goes mad. Things, dreaded things, horrid things lie within space. They wish to merge void (space) and the solid (the physical world), tunneling through reality. They manipulate world events this way, and make all things bend to their will. One of these creatures greets everyone.
[H] Nemat: 10/10 HP. Crude Oil: 0.
The creature, a Nemat, decides to slice and dice into the Mammoth. Eishalon? Nah. No machine gun.
The nemat gains crude oil on a one to one correlation with the amount of damage it deals. Crude oil is a mystical construct, with many uses. Some, everyone in the industrialised world is familiar with. Others are more mystical. Crude oil can offer power to lesser beings at a price: it drives them into seeking the objectives of other beings that don't really have their wellbeing in mind.
(This seems strange and very complex, and also very new. I'm kind of scared, but very interested. A friend told me about this game, so I guess I'm joining in. Did I do it right???)
