The Knives only go up by 2, since 1 of your actions went to the Faxman Rebellion! however, you successfully and cleverly spin the lack of faxes into further benefit towards your actual goal, gaining a choice between an exceptional +2 Charge Progress to Faxman Rebellion, or the 'enraged devotion' passive (which is worth more then 2 charges, but is not controllable). (The Anti-taxman, if killed, would still have protected you on this round, since it would have died after its turn, but vigilance is good regardless. it has enough health to survive the round, anyway.)
You continue work on your machine gun. do you use any magic in the process? (y'see I can't really make chargequests about how guns work because I don't understand machine guns well enough to know if you'd be doing it right. but if it's something made up like magic I can probably come up with something.)
I think that's good for now... Just in case, I'm going to give 10 DR to Leader and 5 DR to Sky High. That should soften blows against them for now (and hopefully allow me to resume charging.)

You do that! The Inventor begins crafting the spear. a new problem occurs to them: what do they tip the spear with? wood isn't really the best material for a tip... The Messenger observes the Crystals. the crystals sit there in a pile, completely motionless, as one might expect from rocks. they're pretty shiny.

Sky High regenerates, as does Leader. Leader then attacks the Corrupted Rocker Furby, slamming it into the ground hard enough to leave a crater and dropping it to 0 HP. The Darkness given Form almost snorts. Yeah, like that'd fool it. It continues training, eyes scanning the field warily. The training session is slightly substandard, granting 3 Attack. The blackstar points of the Darkness Given Soul swirl around it, a hateful mirror forming and refracting defensively. some green mist rises from the Glass Side of the etrahedral one. ... A quiet scraping sound fills the air, plastic against silt. but something's off about it, and it's obvious what: for every scraping motion, a dollop of sizzling blood splatters to the ground. The Broken form of the Corrupted Rocker Furby claws its way back out of the crater, then roars. in something of a callback to its original summoning, that roar is even decipherable: "𝖋𝕰𝕰𝕯"if it doesn't load, that says 'Feed' in full caps in gothic font With a growl like gargled barbed wire, the Bloodthirst Monstrosity advances on (rolling d6...3) The Darkness Given Form, but is rebuffed by the mirror-shield. The Messenger of the Infinite heals and attacks the Antitaxman! since the second +5 attack is only gained this round, its attack only does 5 damage, what it had before this rounds upgrading. he Taxman is forced to procrastinate. Which is a shame as far as its concerned: It would've liked to tax that blatant witchcraft the Monstrosity is engaged in by not being dead. he ih uses Gobli Goup, summoning a Goup of Goblins! It then bestows an illed Blessing on the Gobligoup, making it poisonous! The Godmodder quickly constructs a barrier of horizontal gravity around his forces, keeping the Monstrosity from accidentally stumbling over to his side. it's weak enough to force past, but the Monstrosity has no reason to preferentially target him. GODMODDER: It's all yours, chumps.

Death was not so permanent in such a world, but his case is special. Being blown to smithereens so completely, magician and doctors are unable to piece back his body.
Yvonne was devastated. She begged the school's scryers to provide her an answer and an affirmation that her best friend's soul is still safe, somewhere. After his funeral, she can't even study properly, and was demoted back to normal classes.

She was told that her best friend's soul is safe in the College.
Leaving the College, she was the only one who wielded Code Magic which controlled the basics of how a creature exists in the world, and the will of such creature.
She was told that in order to put her best friend's soul back into a body, she needed a powerful artifact.
She now adventures for that particular artifact. But with her caring nature hidden in a mask of cold face, it is likely for her to return not only with the artifact, but also the allies she met in the way.

Then I needed a basic focus. Inherently Technomagic, I needed something with metal contents within. Then alchemy is required. I perform a simple spell to purify iron ore and fuse it with the blood of a nearby creeper that I slain. This made the Staff more capable in Explosion-based damages.
After that polishings is required. I took some sand and sand down the wooden core. After a while polishings are done. I then waxed my Staff using wax collected in the surroundings.

You juggle chainsaws! the display is so impressive, you gain an additional 1 Charge! yep. definitely because of the impressiveness of juggling flaming chainsaws and for no other reason. The Inventor gains either 0.2 Charges or the weapon passive 'unconventional'! Indeed the crystals are pretty! now that you look at them more closely, you notice they're all more or less the same shape... kinda elongated hexagons, y'suppose. The Godmodder looks at The Infinite's new attack orders suspiciously. GODMODDER: The Monstrosity is dealt with. Leave it. the Barehanded filter is based on prior flavor, not after-the-fact alterations, otherwise I wouldn't even mention it because of how trivially avoidable it is. Leader is fine, since they were in fact doing things from range, but the Messenger will be treated as Barehanded.

Finding the Wood and the Iron is simple enough, but a creeper? much less so. looking around, you see no creepers. for some reason, there seem to be none within... dozens of chunks, at least. Mostly there's undead and sheep, and some spiders in a forest in the distance... You also notice a Taxman. They tax peoples charges, but only if they aren't paying attention! as long as you make sure to acknowledge they exist, they can't affect you.

You summon Darth Maul despite the Godmodder doing what you said you wouldn't summon Maul if he did! The Godmodder slowly backs away from Maul, blandly observing that since lightsabers are made of superheated plasma, they would deal fire damage, not force damage. He then pulls out a gun and shoots Darth Maul in the face six times. Unlike blaster bolts, ordinary, solid bullets cannot be deflected by plasma fields or magnets. Maul goes oof and dies. You watch.

Faxman Rebellion (3/10) (Anti-Taxman protects me from Taxman!)
Enraged Devotion selected! You continue enchanting your knives! Say, doesn't enchanting require specific amounts of money? Do you have enough for these knifes? The Faxman is slowly becoming angrier.. but they take solace in the fact that, with no work, they can spend all their time playing video games! whatever will you do about that?
Anti-Taxman protects Thalai! Leader strikes the Monstrosity with its magic, dealing 140 damage! The Darkness Given Form continues training... and rolls a 1 on their training roll. They mess up so badly, they don't just fail to improve. they dislocate their armblades, causing an imbalance in their movements which makes them tip over. this gets their armblades stuck in the ground, and them in a position so bad they can't lever themselves back up. trying to stand back up,they scramble against the ground for traction with the terrible position until they end up outside of the mirror-shield formed by the Darkness Given Soul, where the Monstrosity roars out its rage and charges. Before this series of unfortunate events can progress further, however, the Darkness With Purpose uses the Heritage of the black star to defuse the situation and rolls a 19, inverting local gravity to pull the Darkness Given Form out of the ground and back into the shield, leaving the Monstrosity to growl impotently. The Darkness Given Soul continues maintaining the shield. The Bloodthirst Monstrosity screams out again, and charges at the Darknesses again. Its bulk slams into the mirror-shield, which bows inward, then shatters, leaving its bleeding mass sprawled among the Darkness. it attacks in an animalistic rage like instinct and deals 17 damage to the Darkness Given Form with the attack remaining after the shield shattered, healing by that selfsame amount as it feeds on the torn flesh it clawed out. It turns and gazes at the rest of the field, eyes twin orbs of sunken blackness in the bloodied flesh that is its face, an enraged rumble in the back of its 'throat'. The Messenger strikes the Monstrosity, dealing 60 damage in a spray of blood. That same blood sizzles at the stone flesh of the golem that is the Messenger, eating through it somehow for 10 damage! he Taxman, he finally finishes procrastinating! he was procrastinating on... on... actually he's going to continue procrastinating because he may or may not have forgotten what he was actually going to do. he ih spells spell using the bolded letters here: Gobli Goup 0/3, illed Blessings! thereby it deals spell damage, which means as much damage as a spell, which means it casts firebolt! it also sacrifices the 0 and the 3 to cast firebolt as if it was 30th level, for a total of 5d10 damage! 5+4+7+9+6 damage to Sky High, which is to say 0+0+2+4+1=7 damage! No creepers are the least worries. If there ain't creepers, she could use the spiders to fuse a core which allows for deeper manipulation and farther range. She then kills and bleed the blood out of the spider and fuses it instead in the staff's core.
She then makes an infusion spell which gives the staff basic repair abilities by itself and allows for the infusion of magic later on. This spell is not difficult on its own but is time-consuming.
Lastly, she inscribed runes onto the Core - triangles, circles, stars, etc.
I reluctantly sell my Hovel, so that I can continue working on the knives.

The chainsaw juggling strives onward to ever-more absurd heights! this is funny enough to grant an additional 2.5 Progress to Complications, though there is no option for an uncontrolled more-potent benefit. (this is because the bonus is for a funny method, rather then solving a specific challenge.) The Inventor finishes his Iron Spear, gaining 45 Attack and 5 more Armor! the iron tip leaves it around as good as a flawless spear of the birch variety, though its ungainliness leaves the maximum attack number at one per round, just like most weapons. and indeed, what sorts of armor do they intend to make? the Messenger reaches a confident conclusion! but even when the Messenger pokes it, it doesn't disappear into Sburb Grist Abstractions. Perhaps they meant it was 'useful material'? That seems likely, but whatever could you use it for?
No creepers are the least worries. If there ain't creepers, she could use the spiders to fuse a core which allows for deeper manipulation and farther range. She then kills and bleed the blood out of the spider and fuses it instead in the staff's core.
She then makes an infusion spell which gives the staff basic repair abilities by itself and allows for the infusion of magic later on. This spell is not difficult on its own but is time-consuming.
Lastly, she inscribed runes onto the Core - triangles, circles, stars, etc.
he Taxman notices you! furthermore, you fail to notice it! It taxes you by 0.18 charges per charge charged, a total charge of 0.54 charges! For binding a Spider to the staff, you may gain either 0.2 Charges of progress or the 'Arakadicuspawn' passive effect, the second option being worth more then 0.2 Charges but being out of your control in effect. When inscribing runes on the Core, you run into a bit of a problem: as a three-dimensional object, its surface is not a two-dimensional surface. to put it another way, as your shapes become larger, the angles of your triangles stop adding up to 180 degrees, your circles look odder and odder, and so on.
You do so! However, the Taxmans Shield, composed of Taxed Charges, blocks the wish- albeit not unscathed, taking 23 damage!
The Anti-Taxman continues his work, even in the face of impending death. Sky High attacks he ih, dealing 45 damage! Leader continues to strike at the Monstrosity with magic, dealing another 111 damage! (the 140 damage damage last round was, as far as I can remember, a genuine math error.) The Darkness Given Form considers the past while and concludes it has settled too much into a routine of training. even now, with a foe screaming and striking at its barriers, will it simply stand and train? Is it not that very sort of monotony that it seeks to end? So, despite some misgivings, it bids the Darkness Given Soul heal it somewhat, sufficient that it will survive contract with the Monstrosity's ever-boiling blood, and attacks, a swift flurry of slashes and blows dealing 138 damage to the bestial thing. it also increase the Darkness's Attack by 2, though perhaps that is less surprising then it might seem; is battle not the best of teachers? The Blood splatters out and sizzles, but the Soul's healing matches, then slightly exceeds its harm. The Bloodthirst Monstrosity, about to target something else, sees that infuriating shield around the Darkness has fallen and charges at them, claws lashing out and drawing inky smoke-blood from wounds on the Darkness Given Form, which falls to the ground, slain- a notification floats above it, and suddenly it has risen again, alive and in peak form. That is its nature, this continual and unending stasis. But though it despises that, it will take its fulsome advantage of these powers if it must. Though it could slack, it would do nothing less. ...But also... But Also, it remains true that the Monstrosity did slay it. And its the prerogative, monstrous and Verthaen as it is, is to Take from each foe or chance meeting which it vanquishes by tooth or claw or distasteful spell. From the earth where the Darkness did Fall, rises a spindly and broken thing. its knees are too sharp and its legs are too long; its spine is bowed, or rather hunched perpetually. where the Darkness has black flesh, it has only rotten bones in some twisted and pointed imitation of a ribcage. Rather then a shadowed face, its head is a skull with a rictus upon it, one with too few teeth all unnaturally curved and sharp and eyes glowing pinpricks of crimson. It is the arms where it most closely resembles the nature of its origins,which are long and sharp as the blades of Darkness are- but these are longer still, and thinner, and strike ever the ground as a second set of legs, the hunched riser more animal then man. And from a hundred places on the Stygian Beast drips pure crimson fluid, like bleeding transcends the need for blood. Lastly, the Monstosity gains an additional 34 Health. Even so, its durability is clearly flagging. The Messenger kills the Anti-Taxman, which dies. It also gains 30 HP and 10 attack. he Taxman spend 1 charge gaining 20 HP of shield! It then reveals the true aim of all its procrastination: DUCKS! It summons a humongous Duck! Of course, since the Duck is a Duck, it weighs exactly the same as a duck, which means it's made of wood! he ih uses spell, sacrificing the id blessing ability's entire name to grant the Gobligoup an id Blessing: doubled attack! as powerful as the ability to mutilate he ih for power is, though, it's clearly running out of things to do. at most it will be able to act twice more before becoming dead weight; it simply doesn't have enough letters left, otherwise. The Gobligoup attacks Leader, dealing 10 damage and applying Poison! The Godmodder uses some of his Vendable stuff,Vending it from his body at high speeds! the plethora of painful projectiles partially pulverise pseudoplayer physicality, dealing 33 damage to Sky High and 22 damage to Leader after their damage resistance! one particularly potent piece pierces pure psychosis, pushing primeval Pyramidial provider of piquancy out of the proximate zone.

I gain more power, and lose more control! (I choose the Gilded Filigree)
In honor of the Anti-Taxman, all three of my actions are dedicated to him. The Faxman and I, bury the Anti-Taxman. We then hold a short funeral for him. I then Place the Blessed Monumental Whetstone on his grave, as a gravestone knowing he will protect it. I then inscribe this onto it:
"Okay, okay, Taxman I see you. Seriously, are you so much dependent on other's notice to stay alive?"
I continue to do my work. I choose the "Arakadicuspawn" effect, knowing sometimes let other entity to share the burden on casting is a wise choice.
But it is dangerous to only choose 1 entity to act as the main infusion since it can have a chance to backlash and damage me. Although it is possible to negate the chance of backlash by pacifying the soul using code magic, it will be utterly useless to the staff. I see there is undead in the fields, so I took on a skeleton, capture its long-dead soul, and put that soul container on the other end where I put the spider-infused iron in.
I then see that I arrive at some problem while inscribing runes on the staff. It is not common to inscribe on a 3d surface since it is usually enough to put a block of whatever stone stuck in the staff and inscribe on the stone instead. Yet, I can cast and effect a more powerful effect using a 3d inscription. I then make a simple protractor using a sharp wood, strings and some coal on the other end. I then use the coal to put a black line and then use a knife to inscribe the black line. Since all points are on an equal distance this way, this circle can be used as a magic inscription.
I then make the handle of such staff. I used some strings bonded together and encircle a small portion using such strings, ensuring that I can hold it long with ease.
My charge finishes! To signify its completion, I juggle ONE HUNDRED flaming chainsaws! Everything's going well when suddenly... I DROP ONE
In the resulting chaos, I trip over my own legs, break one arm, dislocate my shoulder, rupture my appendix, snap my neck, get my hands ripped off, and get at least three compound fractures. I get better, though. In the time it takes me to get better, The Infinite gains a player action and Duplicity gains an additional 5 Charge. I *believe* both go off before they take their actions, but because Duplicity isn't quite finished, Leader won't be able to use the extra action.
With my remaining 1.5 Actions, I give Sky High 10 HP and 5 Attack.
~~~
The Inventor: Hmm... The Inventor: I could make metal armor if I had more metal. The Inventor: Oh, there are a lot of chainsaws over there... The Inventor: ...Chainmail Armor it is!
The Inventor begins gathering up chains from the no-longer-flaming chainsaws.
He also attacks the Gobligoup, (hopefully) killing it.
~~~
Duplicity completes. Leader feels his inner power splitting into two... He now has two player actions every turn.
If he can use the second action this turn, he gains 20 HP. With his remaining 0.9 actions he starts a new charge called Protectorate. He also finishes off he ih.

The Broken form of the Corrupted Rocker Furby claws its way back out of the crater, then roars. in something of a callback to its original summoning, that roar is even decipherable:
"𝖋𝕰𝕰𝕯"if it doesn't load, that says 'Feed' in full caps in gothic font
With a growl like gargled barbed wire, the Bloodthirst Monstrosity advances on (rolling d6...3) The Darkness Given Form, but is rebuffed by the mirror-shield.

----- Chara Info and Backstory -----
Yvonne.
Living in a lovely family, she was in no need to fight for herself during her teenage years.
As a result, she was able to ace in theoretical subjects.
She was, ultimately a loner at school due to her high, often perfect scores.
Her least favourite subject at that time was practicals of fighting. She would sometimes even fail them.
Yet, life was not always friendly and in a regular excursion with not so regular mobs, her best friend was blown to death by a unsuspecting enraged creeper. In front of her eyes. Having only theoretical knowledge in fighting, Yvonne can't even properly apply first aid to him.
The scryers, in violation of school's rules, provided Yvonne with an answer, and a path.
Yvonne then took up so many combat class and decimated her free time. At a certain time the dorm supervisor had to explicitly told her that it is forbidden to practise combat in the dorm, which is so infrequently done.
She left there with a knowledge of how the world works, and knowledge of how to apply knowledge about how the world works towards helping her allies and decimating her enemies.
"I see hell around there. And so I need training. A perfect place."
Basic Manipulation Staff [3/10]
"I'm in need of a channeling item should I want to attack easier. Casting without a channeling item is possible, but is very inefficient and doesn't deal anything beyond scratch damage."
Using the tutorial given to me by the College, I picked a good, birch wood and started cutting. I now have the Core of my Wand.
The staff is now usable, but a lot work is needed to infuse the magic and use it as a Staff.
I see there is hell beside me, so I put on a simple enchantment spell to obscure my location.
I take the Enraged Devotion passive! No more control!
I continue enchanting my knives. (2)

Faxman Rebellion (3/10)
When players get creative.
You watch.

The Inventor: This will be good for both offense and defense.
The Inventor: Speaking of defense, I should probably think up some armor to go with this weapon...
The Inventor holds up his finished Iron Spear! It's unconventional creation gives it the Unconventional passive, and it gives Sky High an extra 45 attack and 5 armor!
As its first test drive, The Inventor attacks he ih with it. He also considers... what sorts of armor could he make?

Leader, seeing the battlefield calm down a little, feels better. He charges Duplicity and attacks the Bloodthirst Monstrosity.

The Messenger of the Infinite considers that those rocks may be important. It searches its memories - has it seen this before?Of course - it's Grist of some kind. The Messenger of the Infinite approaches the Grist and begins examining it to figure out its uses.
The Infinite gains 30 HP and 10 Attack. It attacks the Anti-Taxman, this time without intervention.

Basic Manipulation Staff [6/10]
No creepers are the least worries. If there ain't creepers, she could use the spiders to fuse a core which allows for deeper manipulation and farther range. She then kills and bleed the blood out of the spider and fuses it instead in the staff's core.
She then makes an infusion spell which gives the staff basic repair abilities by itself and allows for the infusion of magic later on. This spell is not difficult on its own but is time-consuming.
Lastly, she inscribed runes onto the Core - triangles, circles, stars, etc.
12/30.
I cast wish to wish away the taxman.
Accidental member of the cult of sedge.
this is what happens when you open a cult page on D&D beyond.
You sell your Hovel! this generates an unexpectedly large windfall, progressing your Animated Kitchen Knives charge by either an additional 2 points or granting it the Gilded Filigree passive (which has more then 2 charges in power but has uncontrolled implementation)!
Your scolding of the Faxman is less productive, but still grants 0.2 additional progress. in the EoTB-after its action- The Anti-Taxman dies. it can no longer aid your tax-evading ways.
The chainsaw juggling strives onward to ever-more absurd heights! this is funny enough to grant an additional 2.5 Progress to Complications, though there is no option for an uncontrolled more-potent benefit. (this is because the bonus is for a funny method, rather then solving a specific challenge.)
The Inventor finishes his Iron Spear, gaining 45 Attack and 5 more Armor! the iron tip leaves it around as good as a flawless spear of the birch variety, though its ungainliness leaves the maximum attack number at one per round, just like most weapons. and indeed, what sorts of armor do they intend to make?
the Messenger reaches a confident conclusion! but even when the Messenger pokes it, it doesn't disappear into Sburb Grist Abstractions. Perhaps they meant it was 'useful material'? That seems likely, but whatever could you use it for?
he Taxman notices you! furthermore, you fail to notice it!

- Purity embodied.
The Anti-Taxman continues his work, even in the face of impending death.
Sky High attacks he ih, dealing 45 damage! Leader continues to strike at the Monstrosity with magic, dealing another 111 damage! (the 140 damage damage last round was, as far as I can remember, a genuine math error.)
The Darkness Given Form considers the past while and concludes it has settled too much into a routine of training. even now, with a foe screaming and striking at its barriers, will it simply stand and train? Is it not that very sort of monotony that it seeks to end? So, despite some misgivings, it bids the Darkness Given Soul heal it somewhat, sufficient that it will survive contract with the Monstrosity's ever-boiling blood, and attacks, a swift flurry of slashes and blows dealing 138 damage to the bestial thing. it also increase the Darkness's Attack by 2, though perhaps that is less surprising then it might seem; is battle not the best of teachers? The Blood splatters out and sizzles, but the Soul's healing matches, then slightly exceeds its harm.
The Bloodthirst Monstrosity, about to target something else, sees that infuriating shield around the Darkness has fallen and charges at them, claws lashing out and drawing inky smoke-blood from wounds on the Darkness Given Form, which falls to the ground, slain-
a notification floats above it, and suddenly it has risen again, alive and in peak form.

[8.48/10] Basic Manipulation Staff
Complications: 15/15

Duplicity: 10/10
Protectorate: 0.9/5
Circle World: 4/6

~~~
The Inventor: Hmm...
The Inventor: I could make metal armor if I had more metal.
The Inventor: Oh, there are a lot of chainsaws over there...
The Inventor: ...Chainmail Armor it is!
The Inventor begins gathering up chains from the no-longer-flaming chainsaws.
He also attacks the Gobligoup, (hopefully) killing it.
~~~
Duplicity completes. Leader feels his inner power splitting into two... He now has two player actions every turn.
If he can use the second action this turn, he gains 20 HP. With his remaining 0.9 actions he starts a new charge called Protectorate. He also finishes off he ih.
~~~
The Messenger of the Infinite, not knowing what to do with the not-Grist, simply waits nearby. The creeping Infinite grows over the not-Grist, in case it becomes important later.The Infinite gains 30 HP and 10 Attack. It attacks the Darkness Given Form.
