Yeah I have no way to interpret the light displays, or figure out what I'm supposed to do with it, so uh...
The Shopkeeper begins turning a crank on the side of his stall. He also takes a glance at the Spirit Savant, it appears the Shopkeep seems aware of something nobody else has noticed yet. He pulls a piece of paper out of his pocket, and whips his hand around which somehow folds the piece of paper into an airplane. There's no explanation for how the writing on the paper airplane got there. He tosses it up into the air, where it hovers for a moment, and he waves his hand dismissively, causing the plane to drift over to the Spirit Savant.
When unfolded, the piece of paper reads: "Hello, it has come to my attention that you are interested in one of my wares. Attempting to steal it from my shop will result in... unpleasant experiences for you. However, should you collect for yourself (or for someone else in your name) 5 credits for my services, I would have no issue with handing it over to you without fuss. I sincerely hope that this can be a mutually beneficial business as opposed to a mutual loss." There's a little logo and design at the bottom. That's odd, the Shopkeep's shop didn't have a logo before, did it? Looks like it does now.

You return to the battlefield! you look around, and determine the trees of the area have turned into birch trees, copper and granite rocks are sticking out of the ground, and the majority of the battlefield is no longer composed of solid diamonds. Someone must have cleaned up the Shadiamond radiation while you were away! The moose from like 10 pages ago appears, mind scarred by some horror, impractial MMORPG amour battered and worn.
The Moose crashes into the barrier around the update room. With the force of an items final use,the barrier breaks like glass as several of the amour pieces run out of durability and shatter themselves. The Update Room Barrier has been broken!
I teleport myself and my pseudodragon companion to the shop, and have my pseudodragon try headbutting the crank.
Oh, and I'm going to create a massive field of bushes around the shop, because why the heck not?
As you teleport yourself, you see the Godmodder rapidly start to turn towards a point in the distance, but you teleport before anything more happens. despite the small size of the update room, you create a massive field of bushes within it! How they fit is anyones guess. most of an action donated to pionoplayer.

(Your charge is slightly smaller because Sirnaturewriter was doing another action at the same time) Flying Spagetti monster retrieved! it can either remain in its sidequest form (A buff to one player granting them regen and thorns), or transfer back to its original statline. You crank the gear! but it's slowing down... you open up the gearbox, and you see... Mold! Lots of mold! Some of it is bio-luminescent, helping you determine the extent. It would appear that basically the entire gearbox is full of this glowing mold thing, which grew there while you were not here, probably. what do you do?

You throw some weird materials i've never heard of, and get a magic chainsaw. unfortunately, this appears to not be a Gathering Chainsaw, possibly due to material choice, and possibly due to a lack of such things in existence. You proceed to awaken your chainsaw and try to cut some trees. It looks like it's working, but it's slow going so far... [|||||||||||]

The Spirit Savant replies by saying that "as a result of the flavour, though, the source of the player energy used could affect what the method should be; Perhaps your type of player energy is differently, or relatively less, compatible with Godmodder energy." On that note, you may treat the 1.8C from SirNatureWriter as being their player energy, and success is possible regardless of the base player's energy.

Okay, so I just realized I forgot to count nature's action and my action in the charge as well as the flavor text, unless I've forgotten how charging quests work, that's an extra 2 to the charge because I'm a doofus. Also isn't solving one of these charge quests supposed to give bonus points?
I once more request the flying spaghetti monster return with it's original statline.
"...huh you know I probably should've thought of that myself." The Shopkeep takes out one of naturewriter's charge points in the Monolithium charge and replaces it with one of his own, then crafts it into a crystalline analysis matrix, summoning it as a one-use entity that will, over the course of 5 rounds, analyze the Shopkeep's own power aspects and give a more in-depth insight to how it functions differently from other player's energy by comparing and contrasting with the naturewriter sample I used to make it. Obviously, if it dies before the 5 rounds end, it gives no data. The Shopkeep gives 1 more credit to the Spirit Savant, with another 4 pending depending on whether or not the machine is allowed. If it isn't allowed the pending 4 won't be dismissed immediately, instead only upon me running out of paths forward I can see. Oh yes, also the Terror Pants are ordered to guard the analysis machine, and to hold it's fire unless something threatens the machine its guarding.
The Shopkeep waves away the notification. "I'm aware I can but I'm also aware that the Godmodder tends to get an itchy trigger finger if he runs out of OG targets and I would rather wait until the OGs refill their ranks a bit before I set up shop near the bulk of the Godmodder's forces again." The Shopkeep also gives another message to the Spirit Savant "So long as this round's action is properly accomplished, you should have enough credits stored to purchase the item you wish come the end of the round. If it takes a bit longer to capitalize on the information you've given me, it should still reach your account. You may head out to be main field if you so wish, I'm capable of communicating with you while you're out there, as well as delivering any orders you make." Finally, the Shopkeep turns to Cuphead and sighs "Alright, look. I know you thought you got away before and then I pulled you back, but it appears that that was somewhat pointless as the person who your contract is rented out to seems to have forgotten you exist. If Aeisenberg doesn't give you any orders in the next three rounds (including this one) come to me and I'll give you your contract and soul back to do with as you will, as well as deliver you back to your homeworld properly instead of just leaving you wandering about in this one."

So let's remember what kind of stuff I needed and how high my chance of making certain magic items is...

Crafting Station focus detected : [Self-Building]. Woodworking level minimum decreased to 35. Crafting Station property detected : Factory. Ingredients automatically refined... three-star ingredient detected : Flex Tape. +20% success rate with necessary ingredients.
Ah. So basically I need x18 Refined Hemp String,x2 C Arcadius Cloth,ORx4 Soul Strand. edit: so I basically need x9 Refined Hemp String or x1 C Arcadius Cloth or x4 Soul Strand (got a pm by the universe administrator)
And I need to be Woodworking level 65. But since I get an discount of ingredient cost, I don't have to collect any more C Arcadius Cloth. I need 9 Refined Hemp String... I heard about string theory somewhere... lets see if that helps me. I legit open the tab "Wikipedia: String Theory". Then my woodworking level should be 35, I see... So I will need the hemp String and then add some Flex tape since I have an -10% crafting success rate... does that mean I only have an 10% chance of this shit working if I add Flex tape?!
Probably need a higher woodworking level then. I proceed to cut some trees. Oh lord of Orcas! Help me in this time of cutting the trees in your name!
After reading some parts of the String Theory Wikipedia page and Hemp Wikipedia page I only need to read up on the Refining Wikipedia page. Oh who knew that things refined are usually:
glass so where is my hempen string... “Far from a wonderful technological hope for a greater tomorrow, string theory is the tragic consequence of an obsolete belief system.” as Robert Betts Laughlin (who won the physics nobel price because he was the first to provide a many bodywave function, now known as the Laughlin wavefunction, for the fractional quantum hall effect, which was able to correctly explain the fractionalized charge observed in experiments.)said. I guess refined hempen string is a very hard thing to get. But since strings are very small (1dimensional) and vibrate and they are too inside of hemp also known as Cannabis, I should be able to get around 9 or more of them... the hard thing will be to refine it since wikipedia told me that usually refining isn't used on hemp string. I look up the synonyms of refined and see how I can make it despite wikipedia being not the best source of information. After getting a leaf of Cannabis and turning it into vegetable oil it has a distinct TASTE, you could say it is tasteful or refined. There are also a lot of strings inside this oil, far more than 9... I will be able to mass produce these magic items if I find a way to multiplicate C Arcadius Cloth. Hm... that would make the flex tape obsolete. Hmm... Orca deus Cloth... Hmm... maybe god knows something. as soon I get this woodcutting level high enough that I have a chance for success, may it be 1% or 0,000000000000000001%
I chant the word @orcalordbeyond to attract the supreme beings attention. This screams for a weed farm.
The Shopkeep examines the cogworks. Alright, that's convenient, the cogs that need to be replaced are mostly of one type and he's got enough spares that the ones that aren't of that type can just be replaced immediately.
First he slots the on-hand replacements into their places, and then his action is over so new gear casting will have to wait until next round. Nature Writer, if you're still intent on helping me, perhaps set up an alloying station of some kind?

Depite both the pseudodragon and shopkeep pushing on the crank, it keeps getting slower and slower, and the shopkeep steps back a bit and frowns. "Hm, looks like I'm gonna need to open this thing up and check the gearbox." He moves to do just that, but a red light flashes above his head. It seems this action's charge point has already been expended.
"...dangit."

The Spirit savant thinks about your offer...
regardless, you crank the crank.
You return to the battlefield! you look around, and determine the trees of the area have turned into birch trees, copper and granite rocks are sticking out of the ground, and the majority of the battlefield is no longer composed of solid diamonds. Someone must have cleaned up the Shadiamond radiation while you were away!
At any rate, priests... the only existing religious order you can detect appears to worship cows. do you try to convert them, or retroactively have just summoned new mook-priests to do the worshiping?

yeah, there are.
You continue turning the crank...
The Moose crashes into the barrier around the update room. With the force of an items final use,the barrier breaks like glass as several of the amour pieces run out of durability and shatter themselves.
The Update Room Barrier has been broken!
As you teleport yourself, you see the Godmodder rapidly start to turn towards a point in the distance, but you teleport before anything more happens. despite the small size of the update room, you create a massive field of bushes within it! How they fit is anyones guess.
most of an action donated to pionoplayer.
(Your charge is slightly smaller because Sirnaturewriter was doing another action at the same time)
Flying Spagetti monster retrieved! it can either remain in its sidequest form (A buff to one player granting them regen and thorns), or transfer back to its original statline.
They do? Hm.
1:00 PM ordered.

They explain that, based on their knowledge of soul and energy powers and stuff, "it looks like 1) Every player has a unique 'flavor' of player energy, 2) this Flavour changes based on their actions, gradually becoming more unique, 3) directly mixing together multiple players energies results in a regression towards genericism of 'flavour', and 4) when separated from a guiding intellect, the flavor of the energy will still affect the way it behaves, and more strongly."

yes rocks hmmm
("hmmm" Verb, meaning: to collect the aforementioned material)
I request the flying spaghetti monster as its original statline.
The Shopkeep looks at the Spirit Savant, and tilts his head. "hmm... I mean, most of that goes without saying. That's generally how Player energy works, you know? While it is good to have confirmation that what I'd already assumed is true, the fact that player energy is different between different players based on how they use it doesn't particularly help with figuring out what makes it and godmodding energy incompatible. Thank you for the assistance however." 1 credit accredited to the Spirit Savant.
The Shopkeep hums to himself, and then writes a small note before sticking it in his pocket.
He looks in the gear box, and thinks. Mold, hm? Mold is really just cheap moss and he has the perfect remedial option for that:
The Shopkeep summons Kris, from Deltarune. Kris takes one sniff of the air and turns his head towards the mold. It's... not quite moss, but it will do. He has a hunger, a craving... a NEED for moss, and until he can obtain it, this mold shall tide him over.
Kris devours the mold.

You try to infuse your awakening ability with player energy. Since the ability is already of yours, was largely created by you,and is in general something you a player do, it's kinda... already infused with it, unless i'm missing something about your intent. certainly the ability is powered by that.

you donate an action to pionoplayer, removing some mold. See the update room picture (being added to discord announcements for convenience) for a past state of the room.

So there.
due to a series of low rolls (1, 1, 2, 3,1), 8 rocks hmmm'd.
The Spirit Savant replies by saying that "as a result of the flavour, though, the source of the player energy used could affect what the method should be; Perhaps your type of player energy is differently, or relatively less, compatible with Godmodder energy."
On that note, you may treat the 1.8C from SirNatureWriter as being their player energy, and success is possible regardless of the base player's energy.
Kris eats the mold. The mold is now gone.
Your scan links to the 'Phil Swift but an angel' dndbeyondstatpage, then continues:
'Phil Swift is an interesting being. While normally one would have to seek him out, the Godmodder's appropriation of has led to them paying attention to you, and a players action brought them here. In fact, their arrival seems to have interrupted a complicated interaction by the lingering entities that they can only guess at the purpose of. perhaps some kind of primitive courtship?
"I'm aware I can but I'm also aware that the Godmodder tends to get an itchy trigger finger if he runs out of OG targets and I would rather wait until the OGs refill their ranks a bit before I set up shop near the bulk of the Godmodder's forces again."
The Shopkeep also gives another message to the Spirit Savant "So long as this round's action is properly accomplished, you should have enough credits stored to purchase the item you wish come the end of the round. If it takes a bit longer to capitalize on the information you've given me, it should still reach your account. You may head out to be main field if you so wish, I'm capable of communicating with you while you're out there, as well as delivering any orders you make."
Finally, the Shopkeep turns to Cuphead and sighs "Alright, look.

Error. some ingredients don't match the type and level of the recipe you're trying to craft. Additional ingredient needed: x18 Refined Hemp String, x2 C Arcadius Cloth, or x4 Soul Strand.
Error. Crafting station Grade [Unique]. -10% crafting success rate. -50% Ingredient Cost
Error. Your level is insufficient for this recipe! Minimum Woodworking level : 65
Error. Ingredient is unrefined. Find a refinery to fix this!
Error. You are attempting to create a [Rare] item using a [Unique] Station. -90% success rate without [Woodworking 100].
Processing...
Crafting Station focus detected : [Self-Building]. Woodworking level minimum decreased to 35.
Crafting Station property detected : Factory. Ingredients automatically refined...
three-star ingredient detected : Flex Tape. +20% success rate with necessary ingredients.
Ah. So basically I needx18 Refined Hemp String, x2 C Arcadius Cloth, OR x4 Soul Strand.edit: so I basically need x9 Refined Hemp String or x1 C Arcadius Cloth or x4 Soul Strand (got a pm by the universe administrator)
And I need to be Woodworking level 65.But since I get an discount of ingredient cost, I don't have to collect any more C Arcadius Cloth.I need 9 Refined Hemp String...
Oh who knew that things refined are usually:
so where is my hempen string...
“Far from a wonderful technological hope for a greater tomorrow, string theory is the tragic consequence of an obsolete belief system.”
as Robert Betts Laughlin (who won the physics nobel price because he was the first to provide a many body wave function, now known as the Laughlin wavefunction, for the fractional quantum hall effect, which was able to correctly explain the fractionalized charge observed in experiments.)said.
I will be able to mass produce these magic items
if I find a way to multiplicate C Arcadius Cloth. Hm... that would make the flex tape obsolete.Hmm... Orca deus Cloth... Hmm... maybe god knows something.as soon I get this woodcutting level high enough that I have a chance for success, may it be 1% or 0,000000000000000001%
