Could you, within what the player’s handbook lays down as the rules, stunlock enemies by using polearm master with oath of vengeance at level 7 (or alternatively sentinel)? Polearm master makes it so when something enters your range, you can opportunity attack it, and oath of vengeance lets you stop the thing from moving while you can move back, so could you hit something, freezing it, walk back a foot or so, wait for it to come back in, repeat, and as long as it has no range or reach, just cheese it to death, or at least get free hits in until you inevitably miss an opportunity attack?
In 2014, Polearm Master (2014) gives an Opportunity Attack but Relentless Avenger (2014) instead gave you movement up to half of your speed. So this doesn't work from the Paladin side. In 2014, PAM could be stacked with Sentinel (2014) to achieve something like this, however this tactic was often seen as overpowered and could often be banned at tables.
in 2024, Polearm Master does not give an opportunity attack, instead it gives a reaction called 'Reactive Strike'. Reactive Strike is not an opportunity attack and so does not work with the Relentless Avenger feature. Needless to say, efforts were taken to ensure the PAM+Sentinel situation didn't re-occur within 2024.

The answer to this is no, this doesn't work.
