Hello everyone,

I’m looking for three to four players for a Rime of the Frostmaiden Campaign. 

Type of player I’m looking for:

1. Active enough to post a decent amount of times a day I’m really looking for players who will commit and contribute to progressing the campaign. Another thing, my timezone is PST and I would ask for you to keep this in mind before DMing me. Large gaps in time zones can really hurt the flow of the campaign as often times I or the rest of the party will have to wait during a pivotal moment for a single player’s reply (doesn’t even really have to be a pivotal moment either). I want to reiterate that I really want a steady paced campaign and if you can only post two replies a day then I would ask for you to pass. (This is very high on my priority list as I actually want to see the campaign through.)

2. Players that will read all the details in my post to prevent assumptions and weird interruptions to the story flow. I also want players that will read all the details within the posts of their fellow players to prevent the same thing. To give an example, I want players that can discern when a described scenario applies to them and realize when it doesn’t and let the story play out.

3. Players that are descriptive in their posts and on the same token, frame their actions as actions and not questions.

4. Players that seek to play characters with an intention of wanting to bond with the other characters they’re working with as the campaign progresses. Eventually forging bonds of friendship, rivalries, or maybe even more.

5. Players that love to Role-Play and fight deadly battles. As this is a play by post game role-play will take the most precedence. However, when combat does happen it will be deadly and so if you enjoy both then... awesome!

6. Mature players who will take the game seriously.

Characters will start at level one so an appropriate backstory should be kept in mind. Point buy for stats and official sources (barring supernatural gifts.) Tasha’s is allowed.

Hello, I have been a DM for my home game and have played in a few play by posts before.  I would like to fancy myself as an avid writer and capable of providing through descriptions.  I would be playing from the Mountain Standard time zone and would be able to post frequently on week days and weekend evenings after 1700.  If this sounds acceptable, then I'll begin to create a character.

Interested. A drow Ranger/ future MC fighter that wants to live up to the well known exception to 'all drow are bad' called the guardian of the north that he wants to meet in person and train for at least a bit with. Sightly min/maxed with arcane archer/ hunter/ colossus slayer. He knows the underdark and wants to make it a better place if possible. He grew up in a sleepy unnamed village called 'Lil Phandelver' that exported iron, but very, very little. He grew up in the orphanage after adventurers killed most of the females in his house, 17th in the city, and his mother tossed his father away like a rag doll. This is tying into actual lore and matriarchal society of the drow.

Note: Technically a pallid elf as I think the spells go better with his personality, but he is a drow.

Hello there, I am looking to join a serious PbP game. I have created an Aarakocra Monk searching for the meaning of his existence. He found himself in the middle of a disaster, and wished to know why it had to take his comrades. It drove him almost mad, but he was saved my a monk, who would be his mentor. After decades, he finds himself back in the world, and is now ready to face it. I am EST, but I can adapt to PST if needed.
