The sun is rather high in the sky, it being noon and all. Now is as good a time as any to head out to the farm for information. The barkeep nods to you as you leave. “If you have anymore questions about how to get there, just ask me or any of the guards.” He says.

Alix stops and looks at Thavriol. 

“Do we know how to get there?”

Sienna laughs 

"Indeed that would would be a good thing to check!"

Thav nods to the barkeep. "Thanks.  Which gate do we use?  From there, the guards can direct us, right?"

Sienna looks to the rest of the group "It may be an idea to get hold of a map of the area just in case we find ourselves of course somehow, I can't say I was every very good at navigation"

Nolla pauses as the others ask more questions of the barkeep. "Seems like a fairly well-known place, would expect the guards at the gate would be able to guide us some." She adds in as they await the barkeep's response.

The barkeep tells you to use the west gate.

Sienna nods "Understood, thank you friend! Shall we head off then?"

She turns to the others

"Indeed. No need to tarry. Let us be off.

Alix will depart for the gate. (If anyone delays he will wait)

Thav shoulders his pack and heads out, inviting the other 2 with a nod.

"Then let's be about this then." Nolla says, nodding to the barkeep and heading out of the tavern with the others. She heads towards the West gate.

At the gate are two guards. They notice you approaching and ask your business outside the walls

"Aigar?  Is that you?" Thav asks one of the guards who looks familiar from his own days serving the city.  "We are on our way to the Hills Farm.  Seems they've had some stuff going missing lately and we're going to help them out."

Sienna looks at the guard "Is this unusual? For people to leave the walls I mean? I've only arrived recently not too familiar with what happens here"

"Yep, what they said." Nolla says, with a nod to the others. "We are heading out to help a farmer who has had some things go missing."

“Thav! Goodness it’s been ages! How have you been?” Aigar asks. The guards inform you that it is fairly common for braggarts and daredevils to go out beyond the walls, but it’s a fool’s errand. Many are lucky to come back alive. They have heard about the trouble at the farm, and inform you that the items had been stolen within one night, not a common thing to happen. They also say that to get out there, to take the West road for about half an hour and then cut north along an unmarked path, which will take you to the farm.

Thav clasps forearms with Aigar.  "I've been well, very well.  Thanks for the directions.  Take care, Aigar."  Taking leave of the guards, Thav sets out for the farm.

Alix follows and leans towards Thavriol. “What do you think could be out here? Brigands? Wolves?  I mean the farmer is able to live out here safely, right?”
