In a sad turn of events, the Coliseum has fallen into disrepair. For those that aren't aware, in 2017 BDaddLy opened up Coliseum of Conquest - Origins. Afterwards several other Coliseum threads were also started and set to "Always Recruiting". They were playgrounds where people could have light RP along side PVP battles. Win a battle, level up and get fancier gear.
Unfortunately, at this time the Coliseums have no GMs to run the battles and act as referees, which if you have ever run a PVP game you will know is a necessity.
I think it would be a shame for let a long running tradition like this die. I am willing to step up and GM some of the fights...but I know that I cannot run the entire Coliseum, especially because I am already GMing two games here and playing in two (hopefully three soon) others. Also, frankly, I want to play in the game myself and I can't really do that if I am GMing it. :D
So, this is a call out to our forever GMs out there. Who is willing to pick up the reins of this game with me? I figure if we have 3 or 4 GMs watching over matches we could get a really good Coliseum running again.

Not a GM for this system, but I want you to know that I would be very interested in a concept like this as a player - and in the future as a GM.
I am very new to 5e and D&D Beyond PBP (heck, any PBP at all), and would appreciate the chance to play though some build ideas and see more of the creativity of the raw mechanics at play. Of course, to learn the rules of play as well. I hope you are able to get this going, and if so, I hope to partake someday! Best of luck to you!
I think so...just so I can have control of the thread tags. Working my way through some of the backlog of documents right now to piece together what rules, battlemaps, etc. have been developed over the years...to try to make it as consistent of an experience as possible.
Probably wouldn't be looking to start anything for a few weeks yet.

I could find a way to help out here, but can not do it alone either.

I'll help if you need it.
Would you be restarting a new Thread?
