Joiner grow up in a loving home to two fathers who lead simple lives as bookkeepers in a small city. Joiner loved the escape that books and knowledge could afford him. At the age of ten he read every book his parents had and was hungry for more. He went to the surrounding villages collecting books, folk tales, and local stories. He would return to these places with books he had written about what they told him. Joiner believed that knowledge should be available to everyone.
When Joiner grew older he became a member of the Cobalt Library in the acquisition cluster finding artificers and lost knowledge so that all can learn from it. Joiner has only been in his position for a year when he applied and got accepted for the exchange program at the golden vault, a similar organization.
Tieflings show signs of their ancestors dealings with otherworldly beings. Neville is that ancestor and his firsthand dealings have left him a hollowed out shell.

He now hears rumblings of heist. The idea of lining his pockets and furthering his reputation is all that drives him.
Backstory: (PLEASE NOTE, this character was created for another Keys campaign that never got going, other than receiving our first key) One does not simply choose to become a Cleric of the Twilight Domain, unlike those of the Life or Forged domains.... it chooses you. As a youth, I was quickly identified for my abilities in healing and caring for the sick and dying. I was brought into the temples and presented as a gift by my parents, there I served as an Acolyte for the priests and priestesses, doing their bidding. I always wanted to be a Cleric of the Life Domain or even the Death Domain as it intrigue me - there's something about seeing the soul leave the body that has always captured my attention. Unfortunately, the Clerics from the Life Domain refused to work with me, telling me there was too much darkness in me. Whether it was something they didn't understand or something that scared them, I'm not entirely sure, It was who I was and who I would become.
I was worshipping at a small temple just to the north side of Elysium when I was approached by several men. They saw the difference in me, that darkness and light and how both were a part of me, pieces that I could not separate. They mentioned being part of a secret society, of the metallic dragon order, a society known as The Golden Vault. They saw a difference in me, something that they might be able to use for their own profit. Its membership and activities, they explained, are almost impossible for outsiders to track, but those in the know are aware that the organization rights moral wrongs, supports virtuous underdogs, and handles delicate situations local authorities won’t touch. The Golden Vault’s motto reflects its primary motivation: “Do good, no matter the cost.” Missions from the Golden Vault are often illegal, but they always support a just, moral cause. That's why they wanted me. I could be that person for them, the one that would do good, no matter the cost. The one that both goodness and light was in there heart yet that dark thread of moral fiber ran together, intertwined, allowing me to overlook illegal actions and to do their bidding. We will train you, they told me, you will become a Cleric of the Twilight Domain, one that sits on the edge of day and night, not giving in to either one but using both to attain your power.
I entered into the service of The Golden Vault where I met my handler, Meera Raheer. She entrusted to me an ornate key operated magical music box of sorts "When we have a job for you, the Golden Vault dispatches a golden key to the group, usually via a hired courier. When the golden key is inserted into the music box and turned, the box pops open and plays a message that assigns you a heist, provides basic details, and sets you on the right path. After the message plays, the box closes and the golden key disappears" she tells me "Do the job, report back and receive your reward in payment, it's as easy as that" she states. How could one say no to that? I've been receiving the training promised and I'm working with a team now, together I know we can accomplish what's been requested of us - I'm sure of it! What they didn't know was that I was a Changeling, something that would prove to be invaluable as an Operative of the Golden Vault!

For, she was born without a voicebox, unable to utter a single word. Her parents, utterly ashamed of her, cast her off into the Shadowfell plane, never to be seen again. Growing up in the dark horrors of the Shadowfell, she soon came under the watchful eye of the Raven Queen, who gave her the name of Daewen Pell (Sindarin for Hushed Shadow Maiden). Her melancholic visage and aptitude for hiding in shadows were of great use to the Raven Queen, who often sent her on missions to other planes to watch and wait, looking for the tragedies her Queen wished to collect. Being a mute has its advantages among the Shadar-Kai, as she's learned to hear things her fellow missionaries never assumed were worth paying attention to. Short backstory describing why you are joining the crew:
From humble beginnings picking pockets to support her family, Breyra soon discovered a talent for the mechanical, becoming adept at cracking safes and disarming traps -- and setting a few of her own. Hired to plunder a highly secure vault, she was surprised, to say the least, when she and her trusty mechanical spider Octal stepped through the vault door to find not the priceless treasures she was expecting, but only empty shelves [OR a single unexpected item, TBD w/ DM, to tie into campaign].
Now Breyra is in an unfamiliar city, on the run from the people that hired for for that job that went so, so south, trying to stay just far enough ahead of them that they neither find her, nor decide to give up and take it out on her family instead…
[Breyra might seek to join the crew for a quick payday to fund the next leg of her flight, or perhaps for camouflage and protection. Or, the crew or the Golden Vault itself might come to her for her particular skills on a job.]

Name: Zarathor Race: Satyr Class (starting at lvl 2): Cleric (Trickster) Background: Charlatan
Zarathor is always in the mood for a joke or for a prank, but he would never intentionally hurt someone from his games. He is a follower of Erevan Ilesere, the Fey Jester and as a rite of initiation was send to the material plane to prove himself. He spent month on the road, never stayed too much time in the same place. Pranks means making a few ennemies and there are a few people he does not wish to meet again. One noble in particular, (name for the DM), did not appreciated finding himself naked in the street of his village and seing a large part of his wealth donated to the urchins. Hence, Zarathor had to run, again. But lately, he grew bored of travelling and wanted to experience something new. He settle down in (DM choose city) for a while and decided to maybe use his talents for the good of the people...well until he gets bored again. In a tavern, between rounds of ales, he heard rumours about the Golden Vault and decided to join them. "I think this is going to be fun!"
Short backstory describing why you are joining the crew:
Sarina is a changeling who was orphaned at a young age. She does not know what became of her parents or even if they are truly dead. Her family lived in a small town with humans and other species, but the locals were always suspicious of her changeling nature and when she was orphaned, the locals did not want to look after her. So she ended up being given to a monastery in the nearby mountains and never found out what happened to her parents. At the monastery initially she served the monks but after some years was accepted as an initiate and eventually became a monk (or rather, a Nun) herself. However, over the years he felt that she never quite fitted in. She has a desire to do good, and wants to use her abilities to help people. When a member of the Golden Vault stopped at the monastery one day on their travels, they got talking and Sarina realised that this might be a much better way to serve her community.
She is quite humble and spends her many of her days happily sweeping or doing other menial jobs, and consequently her Monks weapon is her broom (in terms of rules, let's call it a quarterstaff). As she started working for the Golden Vault, she was surprised how readily 'servants' and sweepers are overlooked, and has founds this quote a useful cover at times when trying to observe or infiltrate.
Short backstory describing why you are joining the crew.
Iniseis has known trickery and criminal activity all her life, she grew up in a family of thieves, con artists, and just naturally evil beings and she has the intent of keeping the tradition of evil intent alive. She relocated out of her town due to too many close calls and hitched up the road until she found something stable for her lifestyle. She ran into a small town and heard a few talking about some recent crimes committed by this heist crew and she was immediately intrigued. This could go perfectly or be a complete fail, but she was just in it to have fun and commit crimes of course.
Nave has no real memory of her family or where she came from. Her earliest recollections are living in the monastery, where harsh nuns with stern faces would beat her for the slightest transgressions. And when you're a Tiefling "devil-child", there are always transgressions to be found.
She was maybe 9 or 10 when she ran away.
The town near the monastery was large, almost but not quite a city. There were plenty of places to hide, though in later years Nave wondered if anyone from the monastery had ever bothered to come looking. Nave made her own way as a beggar and thief. As she got older, she honed and refined her craft, finding the best street performers and picking the pockets of their transfixed audiences. Eventually, she got too well known to avoid the town guard and too old play the innocent urchin. Faced with no other choice, Nave took to the road looking for her next opportunity...
I am not sure if you still are looking for someone... I was a bit worried about your requirements for posting frequency, but let's say I could pull a post a day.
If you are interested in Human (variant) rouge joining your party, I think I could recommend Korinna. I have no idea how her further career will roll but I thought Arcane trickster could be fun to play...
She is an orfant raised on the streets of a big city. As most of the children nobody took care of, she was neglected and struggled to survive but someone saw some potential in her. First used as a bait to lure anyone with any compassion for a dirty, crying girl she mastered art of helping people to part with their wealth. Now, mostly on her own, she looks for any job that will set her for life... or at least for the next few weeks. She usually poses as a bard playing lute and she actually has some talent in this..
If you have any questions, please let me know. I have used standard array.

Character Sheet: WIP
Hi,
I am not sure if you still are looking for someone...
