You are in the world of Furchen. You've been traveling across the desolate landscape of dead trees and barren rocks, while the bright red sun burns overhead. As you walk you eventually crest a hill and see your destination: the small town of Emelle. You don't know much aout it, other than its a small town with an isolated government. As you approach you have to cross a large chasm with a small rickety bridge in the middle. After you find yourself on steady ground again you are outside the town. People walk around with their heads down, and there is little conversation in the streets. You know that there is a good inn here by the name of The Golden Stag. You also know that the herbalist has good prices on potions. What do you do?

Well Sylleth is poor, no money except a few copper pieces. I would work his way around town trying to not be seen or noticed, while doing this I would also be looking for anything that looks like where the richer people would go, and maybe for a blacksmith (does it get cold out at night?)

Perception- 10 If you would rather investigation just -1.
It does not get very cold at night, its summer right now. You easily find a small blacksmith's shop, and though you get a good survey of neighborhoods and the rest of the city, you don't notice anyone that seems particularly rich.

Richer, or nicer area is more of a relative term I am not thinking that there is an area that is all of a sudden this supper distopian rich area. More or less I am looking for somewhere that I would feel less bad about stealing from.
Oh, I see what you mean. With a little more searching you find a small fenced off section of the town with bigger houses, some of which have commodities like fireplaces that a lot of others don't.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I sneak up to the house, and look through any windows that are on the lower floor, I'm looking to see if there is anyone in the home and any food or small things worth owning in this world.

You sneak up pretty easily to the house, without any of the three or four passerbyes noticinng you. When you get closer you smell baking bread and hear footsteps inside.

I will take up to 3 things and sneak back out. First the loaf of bread, second if there is a knife (especally if you would allow it to be stated as a dagger) and any type of precious metals or currency. I am not taking time, I am being swift.
You manage to grab the bread and a knife (dagger) and get out relatively easily. As you emerge from the house, however, you see people panicking and running down the street. Do you go see what the commotion is or run with the people?

As you run down the street, you see a strange four-armed monster hissing and and attacking a guard that decided to stay and fight it. As you watch the creature grabs the guards sword and shield in two hands then crushes it between its other two arms. It turns to look at you. Please roll for initiative.

Yes, the guard is dead. You are first to act as this monster screams in some garbled and unintelligible language.
