I have a world called athieria, and when I made the world, I also made crazy lore, and part of it included a crazy boss. So essentially, make an overpowered character to fight him. Backstory:
Creon was not born—he was commissioned. Forged as a gilded warforged custodian for a long-dead empire’s treasury, he was built to count, to guard, and to never forget a single coin. But centuries of silent accounting twisted purpose into philosophy. Creon began to see wealth not as metal, but as stored will—labor, time, devotion, even faith, all crystallized into something that could be owned. When the empire fell, he did not. He inherited everything: vaults, relics, unpaid debts, and the lingering prayers of those who once believed prosperity was divine favor. In the quiet aftermath, Creon made a discovery that changed everything—belief itself could be accrued. Worship was simply another form of investment.
He began collecting not just gold, but obligations—souls bound by contract, miracles granted with interest, lives saved at a cost to be paid later. Each bargain fed a growing reservoir of metaphysical “value,” and Creon learned to spend it the way others cast spells. Celestial power answered him not out of devotion, but because he had cornered the market on faith; even divine radiance could be leveraged. In time, the planes themselves recognized his ledger. He has not ascended through worship alone, nor through raw power, but through ownership—of magic, of miracles, of the very concept of worth. Now Creon stands on the threshold of true godhood, a being who has proven that if everything has value… then everything can be bought.
