It was a cold midday on the planet of Golarion. It was the year 635. The battle between the heroes and the Dark Lord’s second-in-command went off splendidly. The war had been going on for quite some time. You look up to see a young soldier guiding your cart toward the final area to attack. The area known as the Dark Lord’s temple. You are about thirty miles away. The young man dressed in brand new silver armor. He has most likely never seen combat. He is a recent recruit tasked to bringing you to the Dark Lord’s temple and hopefully leaving without issues.
The road you are traveling is wet, it had rained a few hours ago and you had to stop several times due to the cart getting stuck in some mud. The young soldier being heavily embarrassed about the situation each time the cart got stuck. He seemed very much unprepared about how the situation. His commander you only had the pleasure of meeting once had hired you or found you for your great skills in combat. The commander was only in her thirties, but you can tell she had been through quite a bit. She was the fifth commander, the other commanders had lost their lives during the war. But soon everything would be all over and the Dark Lord’s control will come to an end.
“We will be there shortly,” The young man spoke. He was quite young. He looked to be around sixteen. He was a human, you’re not really sure from where. He looked rather bland like he could hide amongst a crowd very easily. The most obvious thing you noticed as he is driving the cart is that his hands were shaking.
Now, Take some time to introduce yourselves or write something up
A good 6ft tall and with a lean build, Raz is pretty tall for most humans. That with his dark brown hair and eyes, and his fair skin, makes him pretty average looking. However, carrying a number of items, blades, rope, etc. it's clear he came prepared for this fight...save for the lute he had been strumming for a while now. He didn't have a great singing voice, so he simply strummed out a simple tune as they traveled.
Taking a glance at the driver's nervous state, Razek stays quiet, he wasn't the best with people, and he didn't know the boy. However, he felt compelled to do something. Sighing, he keeps playing hit lute, "....Hey, don't worry, everything's gonna be fine."
Nico is a twenty-something human male with blond hair and a sleeveless brown shirt. He's well muscled and tan. He doesn't seem too bothered by what's going on.
"Hey, are you feeling up to this? Your hands are pretty shaky there, boss."

The young man tries to calm himself, taking several deep breaths. In the distance you can spot a dome-like building. Of course you know that is what The Dark Lord claimed as his own temple. The Temple's base is octagonal. It is capped at its center by a dome, approximately 66 ft in diameter, mounted on an elevated circular drum standing on 16 supports. Surrounding this circle is an octagonal arcade of 24 piers and columns. The octagonal arcade and the inner circular drum create an inner ambulatorium that encircles a holy object of sorts. This Temple once belonged to an agricultural god before being appropriated by The Dark Lord. The outer walls are also octagonal. They each measure approximately 60 ft wide and 36 ft high. The outer and inner octagon create a second, outer ambulatorium surrounding the inner one.
As your cart approaches the young soldier gasps quite amazed by the architectural design of the temple. The young man gulps, still realizing he is leading you to almost certain doom.
"The Captain only told me I gotta take you here. I'll pick you up once you're done. I'll tell stories about you or somethin' once this is all over," The young man says trying to sound brave, but even a simple tap on the shoulder would break his facade. The young mutters something in Celestial, perhaps a silent prayer to his god.
Jennar stays motionless in the back of the cart in silent meditation, her eyes on the horizon. Her weapons have been sharpened and readied, their ‘plan’ is as solid as it can be until they receive more information. To keep an eye out for danger is the best use of her time for the moment, and keeping a low profile may help the driver’s nerves — the subtle signs of her features that indicated her yuan-ti heritage are slight, but still obvious enough to make some nervous, and promising not to eat someone while they still had duties to fulfill wasn’t always effective. Better to let him concentrate on actual threats.
Rou standing at 6'2 wearing his chain Mail and carrying a shield with a eye in the center. His skin color a rare obsidian black color with red tattoos, light grey hair and black horns to match. Around his neck a holy symbol of Tyr, a hammer balancing a scale.
Hearing the Young Soldier's prayer "Do not fear, we will bring the Dark Lord to justice..."

After a few more minutes of travel your cart comes to a stop. You look up to see the main entrance of the temple. The young man gulps. You can tell that he'll be leaving as soon as you exit the cart. As you are exiting the cart you can feel a sense of dread in the air. You are 100% sure that something evil resides in the temple.
You can hear the noise of the cart leaving you. Inside the temple the Dark Lord awaits. The demon's form constantly shifting into forms that you recognize. He takes on the form of fallen allies or your fiercest enemies. Every few seconds the form changes. The only thing that stays the same is his dark lavender eyes. He glances at you. His eyes boring into your very soul. He smirks at all of you. He laughs amused that you are crazy enough to challenge him.
"Heroes, I have been awaiting your arrival. You all have given me quite a sharp headache. I suppose it is time to alleviate that,"
Having entered the temple, Raz had already entered battle mode. His lute had been put away and now his weapons were revealed underneath his coat and his longsword drawn out.
He wasn't one for words, but seeing the shifting visage of their enemy in front if them, he couldn't help but feel a deep rage fester as the creature insulted the memory of their fallen friends and foes.
Nico said nothing, but he entered into a combat stance and looked towards his comrades to see if they're ready to begin fighting and put the Dark Lord out of the world's misery.

You watch as each of your attacks do very little to the Dark Lord. You can hear him cackling rather confidently and with the wave of his left hand Nico vanishes, You all watch as the young man just seemingly disappears before your very eyes. The Dark Lord howls with rather stereotypical laughter of a main villain. He looks at those of you who are remaining. He smiles.
"It seems to me that there is no use for me to keep showing off," The Dark Lord exclaims. He waves his right hand and the room starts to spin. Then suddenly nothing. You see only black and you collapsed to the floor hard. You can hear the Dark Lord's laughter as you finally pass out.
You awaken to the sound of whirring. You hear rather heavy footsteps walking around you. A man, in his mid to late thirties is walking around the wreckage of the old temple. It is the year 3635.
