Thanks. I'm assuming first level? I've got an idea for a Dragonborn Oathbreaker paladin. With a nightmare for a summoned mount, once he can cast 2nd level spells.
Ability scores: 101512131514
Edit: I'm definitely going to take the scores I rolled over point-buy.
1st level, anything goes on player creation, the only requirement is that they're evil, preferably not lawful, but it's not required. ^Even better, if you pick the Nightmare as a pet, You don't have to wait for level 2 (although this will prevent you from getting a baby red dragon, abominable yeti, or other evil creature as a pet Typically for a pet it has to be a baby, but for a riding creature (Like a nightmare) it will not have to be a baby though, it can be a full adult.)
You can't take a dragon or a tarrasque, etc. as a "riding creature" since it's a baby when you get it. Although any creature no matter how OP can be picked, just make sure you have a baby version created.
Thats so... EVIL!!! XD. As soon as all the character sheets are posted, I will start the campaign. Please be somewhat active and don`t go days withot posting, because (while it`s evil), It`s really hard to run the campign if people are posting outside of their turns.
ps: homebrewed a necromancy Cantrip that’s basically a Chill Touch Spell as a booming blade style melee weapon attack combined Cantrip. Works well with Reaper feature to make a death knight. Tell me if you don’t like it.
Growing up in the underdark it was never safe anywhere, Sasna learned this from her own family. Females in her family were expected to be good with magic. But this was not true for Sasna. She tried as best she could but her magic was always limited and weaker than her sisters. Cruel as they were her sisters would use magic against her as practise. Her mother did nothing to stop this, she condoned it. As it was up to her children to learn in whatever way that was needed.
Learning to hide from her sisters she wandered the underdark near her home. She would spend time there alone, listening and hearing the smaller creatures walk there. Tiny critters such as snakes, centipides and spiders. She would observe them and get to know there nature. Trying to learn from them in ways of surviving in such harsh environment. Learning only the strongest survive. Knowing she would not be allowed to gain power under the watch of her older sisters she left. Trying to improve her skills in the underdark. Settling in the wild near a gnomish town.
The gnomes (svirfneblin) were a small town, an outpost that mined some deep caves. Sasna used it as practise. Sneaking up and striking some gnomes that wandered to far out. Using the sound of the mining to blur out her ambush. She managed to get some resources in this way and learn how to get the better of others. The gnomes noticed some of their people missing, more than what could be expected in the dangerous underdark. They called in the help of dwarves that were their trading partners. Together the dwarves and gnomes would set a trap. One that was successfull in trapping her. Thinking she would be killed the dwarves did torture her. Asking if she was alone. Often as they beat Sasna some tiny critter would fall out of her clothing. Somewhat shocking those that were standing around her. Seeing small critters on her that she befriended.
Disgusted by this the gnomes thought of a way to dispose her. Since the gnomes were not to keen on seeing her get killed here. Even if she was a drow. A few miles out of their town they knew of a natural casm that occured in rocks, fairly large oval like form. They tried to scale it once but found many snakes down there and not any material to mine. This would be the place to dispose of Sasna, a fitting end to one that carries around such creatures. So she was dropped into the casm. At the bottom she found many critters like the ones she carried around. And a few larger snake like creatures. Sasna learned how to handle creatures of smaller sizes so she tried the same with the larger ones. Not trying to be a danger to them and as a result was able to befriend one of the larger snake like creatures.
In time she found her way out, the casm went more shallow further along and that is how she could get out with her newly found friend. Bent by thoughts of revenge she went back to the gnome city to once again ambush some of the miners. But this time with help of her snake. She did not kill the gnomes this time. She captured one of them. Torturing him as they had her. And cutting of small parts of the gnome while still keeping him alive. Feeding parts to her snake. Learning secrets about the gnomes traderoutes and town.
Knowing she could not take that many gnomes she kept record these secrets in her notes contained in a scroll case (hermit background). So that she could come back one day and use it to wipe out these vile creatures.
(The small critters would at level 3 be turned into my swarm for swarmkeeper, untill then they are just roleplay flavor and potential food for my pet)
Ideas of monster pet:
Since examples of pets include red dragons i was thinking about Frost Worm. I might need help on good balance for pet but had the idea of using Giant Constrictor Snake for baby stats (and it would do some frost damage when it constricts). The juvenile stats im not sure yet, perhaps we can talk about that along the way.
For now i made this combining the above monsters and reducing it for lower level. I used resistance to cold instead of immune so he can improve later on. But this is just a draft so im open to changing it.

I was hoping to go with a young red dragon as a mount... Is that not allowed then, from the above post on baby red dragons...
When it grows up... But for now babies only... (unless otherwise stated), don't be afraid to ask.
