I have not played play-by-post before, but I am a fairly experienced 5e player. I would like to join if you have room. Based on the classes you're looking for I would like to play a Bard if you're still recruiting.
These are the original things i posted to give you an idea what it's about.
I like highly Customizable Characters, Homebrew and will put very few restrictions on the players. Think of me as a glorified storyteller. Each Character will start out with a pair of bagpipes, a kilt, and be proficient at playing the bagpipes (not that it will matter) on top of all their other equipment. Please Introduce your character below, (a basic overview and a link to a character sheet please.) They will also be assigned a pet (or they can pick one out... They may have to mod it, run it by me, I'll probably approve it.)
It will be story based with lots of combat, not just mindless fighting, it all leads up to something big. It's going to be a quasi-medeval tale, built around a highlands clan, most of whom were slaughtered by half orcs. The few remaining clan members will be on a quest for revenge- ostensibly most of the characters will be humans, from the clan, but it's not required, they could be close friends or mercs. You can roll for stats or use point buy. Feel free to use any homebrew spells, weapons, pets, etc. just run it by me.

Id like to play but don't think I can get a character until after work hours. What I would like to propose is a human trying to perfect his sword skill. If allowable id like to take the magic initiate feat warlock, take sword burst, eldrich blast and reflavor those as sword effects.
Hi, We've lost 2 of our characters so far, and I need two more players.
They must meet the following parameters.
1. They must be at lvl 3
2. They must be in it for the long haul (this is very story driven, and may go all the way to level 20)
3. They must put up with homebrew mosters and items.
4. They are permitted to have a pet but it must be cleared with me.
5. Humans are preferred, but not required.
6. Evil allignments are allowed, but not encouraged.
7. I Prefer Rangers, Bards, Barbarians or Fighters, but other classes are allowed.
8. Please refer to the beginnng of the actual game for any other questions.
You can DM me, or post your character.

Posting once a day should be fine for me. Here's my character. I would like to play him as a charismatic cook, like a celebrity chef. https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/BioticHamster/characters/29028743
Looks good to me, just add equipment and a pet and you're in.

I have 1 slot and 3 people available, I won't make a decision until tomorrow, that gives you all time to polish it up.

I've added my character, just kick me if you decide to go another direction
I've decided to take Bduds2006's character, as I think it fits really well with how the story is going.
I will also take Biotic Hamster because he fits a necessary slot for the group and really rounds it out.
Thank you for your submissions, if i ever have need of more players, i would be glad to add you.
