Looking for four to five new or interested players who would like to jump into an adventure! Make your level one characters and lets begin! I will leave forum up for a little
Name:
Race:
Class:
Background: (If chosen I want to work with each of you individually to tie in your backstory unless you already have one in mind)
Player experience:
What is you favorite part of Dungeons and Dragons: Example: NPC interactions? Monster battles? Brainteaser Puzzles?.....
I would be interested in playing. I would want to play as an artificer. He would be a Gnome and focused on tinkering. For combat he would use a shoulder mounted eldritch cannon from the artillerist subpath.
Personality wise I imagine him being inquisitive. Maybe a bit naive in what is appropriate to ask people. Always trying to get information he can catalog. Kinda like Mordin from mass effect.
Here is a rough draft from the previous campaign that I would rework for this one
Background: ( Soldier) Former member of the Flaming Fist now working as an occasional caravan guard, personal security etc. Slightly surly, drinks a little too much, thinks of herself as a failure most of the time.
Player experience: Playing RPGs for 35 years, Playing D&D 5e for 2 years.
What is you favorite part of Dungeons and Dragons: NPC interactions and puzzles are the main draw but I enjoy combat as well.
Michaello is a traveler of the forest, a guide and protector of those regions. His home is in these wilder places, where he lives with reverence to life and nature. He stops into villages, towns, and even cities, to get the few supplies the wilds cannot provide, as well as to catch up on news from around the area.
How long have I been playin... I've played DND for around 20 years now.
What is my favorite part of DND... Getting to know my character and interacting with others.
Background: Guild Artisan (reflavored to be a village carpenter) Quillfaith started having dreams of the ocean and skies and took them as a divine message to seek out more than the small village of bugbears he grew up in.
Player experience: DMing 5e for a year or so, only been a player in 5e for a couple one shots. Played 3.5 in high school a bit but never consistently.
What is you favorite part of Dungeons and Dragons: Creating interesting characters that let me interact with other characters/npcs on a different level (How will people react to a pleasant and friendly bugbear with spines on his head?)
Background: (I can work around whatever you like to tie in) Haunted One
Brief Backstory: Auraani is quite literally haunted. She is followed around by the image of a demon named Xazax that only she can see. It started when she was 15 and in love with a boy from her village named Virgil. They were out running around the local hills of the town when the demon visage began to stalk and taunt her. She ran, trying to get away, blinded by the tears in her eyes and slammed into Virgil as he came to see what was wrong. The impact knocked him off a small hill and broke his neck. She ran away from home that night, to try and get away from the demon's torment and her guilt for what had happened. A week later, she began to see Virgil's spirit as well. He had fought to stay, to help her through her pain, to be a counter balance to the demon's maddening influence. With his help she began to block out the demon's voice enough to be able to function again. She joined the church of Lathander, the Morning Lord and became one of his servants, venturing out into the world to defend those that need it from the evil she knew all too well to be true.
Player experience: I've been playing D&D since late AD&D 1E and have been DMing since 2E. Many many years.
What is you favorite part of Dungeons and Dragons: Roleplay, story, and combat, though I'm not against puzzles as well.
Backstory: Born with a blessing, Ally comes from a kingdom of elven folk, living in the small town of Blackberry Oak where she was a well known hero, and admired by all. But she made a mistake a while back, and was threatened by the mayor to be cursed terribly if she went anywhere near his son, she chose not to listen, and knew she couldn't stay long, so she left Blackberry Oaks for good to sail to the outer worlds and leave her past behind.
