Just a few house keeping things.
Role playing his highly encouraged, feel free to interact with each other in ant way you see fit.

All combat, ability checks, and dice rolls will happen right in the forum here.
So if you attack it would look something like this

when it comes to ability checks, put them right into whatever you are doing, it saves me having to ask.
Such as,
I look under the bed for the jewel
Investigation 6
There is also a spoiler tab, that may contain information for a certain character. (saves me from pm-ing) you can look if it's not for you, but i'd rather you didn't.
Looks like this
For everyone
Made you look!
Phew that's a lot, I think it's everything. I look forward to seeing you all in Waterdeep, We will get started as soon as I have confirmation that you have all read your session 0 pm.
It is a bright, warm, afternoon in the city. Not a cloud in the sky. At this time of day, shortly after mid day, the streets are bustling with activity. Merchants calling out their wares from cart or storefronts. Servants and commoners rushing about on their appointed tasks. All under the unwavering eye of the City Watch. Any where you see them, they seem a bit on edge, backs straight, pike's gripped tightly, almost like they expect an attack at any moment. Everywhere the whispers are of the gang wars that are erupting across the city. And the fact that the Watch seems incapable of halting the violence.
You all have made your way, for different reasons, to the Castle Ward, and into the inn and tavern known as the Yawning Portal. Perhaps the most famous tavern in the city. The large stone building has 3 floors from the outside. And upon entering you find it fairly busy for the time of day. Thirty-ish patrons from all walks of life are present this afternoon, in varying stages of their sobriety There are a handful of gamblers throwing bones in a corner, and and a bard is playing an uplifting tune that spreads across the room. The upper floors are furnished with many rooms to serve the inn's clientele. But it is the common room that instantly gather's your attention. Right in the middle is an open 40 foot diameter well, with a rope and pulley system anchored to the roof. A quick query to a barmaid lets you know, that this is an entrance to the Undermountain. A sprawling dungeon that exists under the city. For a Dragon (gold piece), Durnan, the Yawning Portal's owner and bartender will lower experienced adventure's down into the Undermountain to see what they can see.
Take a moment here to describe yourself, and what you are doing at this time!

A tall Aasimar walks into the inn - eyes red as blood and an eerie light emanating from her pale skin. She walks to a corner of the inn, and sits down, slowly scanning the inn for familiar faces. She seems to have a level of wisdom about her that is unnaturally high for her young age. She asks for a drink from the roaming server, and asks for information about the Undermountain - what is known to be down there, and why would anyone want to stray from the surface and away from the Sun's saving light. Clearly she has some sort of connection to a Light deity.
A bronze skinned, bald, human male with ornate white robes lined with in a deep purple enters the establishment. As he moves throughout the area, his eyes and attention shift between the other patrons of inn. Filled with curiosity and an unquenchable thirst for adventure he moves slowly as he tries to listen and overhear any sort of rumor or story that may pique his interest while learning as much as he can about the tales of adventurers who have ventured forth into the Undermountain.
a tallish human with long black hair and a mustache with a nice looking robe enters the inn and takes a seat at the end of the bar and asks for a drink. as he's drinking his drink he asks around to find out if they have any info about Victoro Cassalanter and Ammalia Cassalanter. as he walks around asking people you notice a nice bright sliver weapon you assume on his thigh.
