This is an open play by post, anyone can join, looking for about 4 players, mabee a few more. Pretty much this is set in a planet (that I made up) that has a mysterious past. I hope to have it that you are part of a rebellion hoping to take down the army that has conquered this planet, known as the coalition, while finding out a few things about the planets past on the way.

Uuummmm, use any generation system you like. It is high fantasy with sci-if aspects, like there are laser guns and stuff but everyone still lives in castles and bows and stuff are also still common.

Name: Thristollia al'Shameer

Back Story: Thristollia was but a child when the invaders arrived to conquer the world.  His parents, and the other survivors of the al'Shameer clan of Elves of Dambril Wood fled into the high mountains to the north, the Range of Fire, named for the hot springs and 2 volcanoes found there.  They were welcomed as fellow resistance fighters by the dwarfs living there and not so much by the orcs fighting the dwarfs.  Thristollia chose to follow his mother and learn the ways of the land as a ranger and not his father's ways of magic.  Perforce, the land he learned most was mountains.  Over the years, he has learned weapons and tactics, fighting and striking back against the invaders when and as he could.  He has come down from the mountains now to carry the fight to the invaders.

Bio: Poppy doesn't talk about his past much, but he was thief till he was betrayed by his friends. Now he has left that city and it's guild far far behind, spending most his time helping others and enjoying the peace of mind only nature can give.

Name: Elienyphe (El for short)

Race: Satyr

Class: Sorcerer (Shadow)

Background: Like many of her people, So was born in the Feywild. However due to being born close to a portal to the Shadowfell, the dark magic of that plane effected her. It had both a physical and magical effect on her as she became deathly pale and her hair was a dark black unlike most of her mind that have brown hair and fur. Along with this she was was able to harness magic from a young age without teaching of any kind.

This ended up keeping her alienated from her people and she eventually left the Feywild to journey with a group of adventurers to the Prime Material Plane where  she found herself in the employ of a thieve's guild after show some aptitude for stealing since she would use her magic to steal food for herself. This eventually grew boring for her and she left to go find something new and exciting to do.

Gribble knows nothing of his parents or original family. As an infant he was found in the woods by members of the Brotherhood of the Whispering Pines. He learned compassion, meditation, and honed his inner strength at the temple. Master Carric, the head of the Brotherhood, has told Gribble that he is of age to head out into the world and help people wherever he can. He hopes to do this, then return back to the temple and continue his spiritual journey.

So, information dump time. This is where I tell you all the common knowledge about this world. So, the planets name is odara. It is covered by a single continent, that has no describable shape, and all maps of the planet appear slightly different. Also, all the magic users know this, and anyone with a knowledge of magic: magic is based off of emotion. Each school deals with a different feeling. Evocation and abjuration are different, because they rely on not a certain emotion, but rather rash, uncontrolled emotion or cold, detached emotion respectively. Odara has 20 moons, and in the sky there are no stars. Odara is covered in ruins of an ancient, technologically superior race known as the “travelers”. Not much is known about them, only that they probably caused the magic being used across the planet. The coalition, the bad guys of this game, are trying to take over the planet. They don’t have many magic users in their rank, relying on tech they scavenged from the travelers ruins. The rebellion is based on a kingdom known as brightstar, with various other kingdoms around the planet resisting Coalition rule. Aaaaaaand, that’s about all you need to know to start. Also, full humans are a rarity, and most have some sort of weird thing about them, like wings or a tail or horns or something. and the shadow fell and feywild haven’t been accessible in over a decade. There!
