I am currently running a short one shot adventure, and would like to run a second one parallel to it. (A most potent brew)
I am looking to have 3 players join, starting at level 1, created with point-buy ability scores. Ideally only races/classes from the PHB, and if possible please have an image/portrait of the character added to the character sheet. Posting frequency once every day or two would be just fine. Game will be played 100% on d&d beyond PbP forums, using the dice roller. I'm looking to string a bunch of short simple basic one shot adventures together and have the PC's advance levels that way instead of through a complex in-depth campaign.
The intro of the game is below, if you have any interest, please respond with a link to your character and a short simple idea as to why you are in the city etc. I will DM the players who are selected and will create the game thread and send campaign invites.
Thanks in advance!

The adventure takes place in the city of Neverwinter.
The Wizard’s Tower Brewing Co. - a craft brewery known for its hoppy summer ales - is in dire need of help from a band of reliable, affordable adventurers. The owner has posted a job on the local notice boards and is calling in favors from friendly innkeepers all over town to spread the word. Your character may have heard about this work by examining job boards set up in the square, talking to an old friend or simply chatting to the locals over a pint. Your character could reside in or around the city, or could've traveled here looking for work and/or adventure.
Regardless of how your character found out about the job, you have been instructed to ask for Glowkindle at the Wizards’ Tower Brewery to get the specific details of the work. The location of the brewery is clearly shown on the job listing.
Thorvin left his Clan to see the world. How he ended up aboard a ship studying under the ships doctor is a mystery to him. Was it Fate or some other predestined event? He did not know but for the time being he was happy with the events that led him to the big city of Neverwinter but, as soon as the ship pulled into the docks he felt something else calling him. Maybe it was time to say farewell to his shipmates and look for adventure on dry ground for a change.
Gotur has achieved moderate renown in his small druid enclave and the local town as a woodcarver of some skill. He eventually got to wandering, and thought perhaps he'd try to sell some of his carved woodwork in Neverwinter. Perhaps the Wizard's Tower Brewing Company needs some new tap handles for their barrels...
Backstory: Venovar Graphanis has come to Neverwinter to visit his old, dying human mother. As a retired war medic and part-time soldier, he desperately hopes he can save his mom of an incurable disease, but he is unsure of his ability to do so. He took the job to get more money to play for his mother's hospital bills. He also has a sneaking suspicion that his mother isn't dying of old age, but that somebody did something to her. He can only pray for the best...
Backstory: Alton grew up in the poorer area of Neverwinter, but due to the diligence and love of his parents, he was able to make it out. However, starting the new chapter of his life, Alton got into some trouble with the local thieves guild, and in turn become a member to pay off his debt. They had a good run for awhile until Alton’s inability to listen to directions got him thrown out of the guild, forcing him to pick odd jobs across the city, some of which were not exactly the most noble. It is this line of work that eventually leads Alton to finding the job posting for Wizard’s Tower Brewery, an asking Glowkindle for more information.
Ari grew up in a small village of halflings and gnomes in Neverwinter Wood. He studied the forest and learned the ways of nature through his grandmother. When she died, he was devastated, and decided he needed to spend a few weeks alone in the forest. However, he found he liked it more than living in the village, and decided to set off into the woods on his own. Now, he finds himself wanting to learn archery and obtain a bow of his own. Being penniless, he decided to travel to Neverwinter in the hopes that a few odd jobs could allow him to earn enough money to pursue this.

Take your time, I will let this sit here for a few days before we begin.
