My character just leveled up to a level 12 (8 ranger/4 fighter)
He's an elf gloom stalker Arcane Archer (DM let me use wisdom as my modifier for the arrows)
My Dex is maxed and my wisdom is an 18.
I have sharpshooter and fey touched.
I was debating about a few different ideas on feats but open to others if they make sense.
1. Resilient-Con would bump me to the next + and give me con saves (which will give me strength, dex, wisdom, and con saves proficiencies)
2. Gift of the Chromatic Dragon would give me some extra elemental damage without using concentration and some damage resistance
3. Alert would nearly guarantee that I go first in the initiative with a +14 and would basically guarantee I get my ambusher ability every fight
4. Peircer- Adding one to strength or dex doesn't really help because I'm maxed on dex and strength would give me an uneven score bump. but would give me some extra
4. Skulker better hiding to create advantage and make sharpshooter more effective.
5. Elven Accuracy I know everyone likes this feat but I feel like I don't get advantage consistent enough to make good use of it.
Have you considered spell sniper? Get a +1 to either I/W/Ch, spell attacks ignore half and 3/4 cover, casting in melee doesn’t result in disadvantage and ranged spells get +60’ range. Should prove quite useful to an arcane archer and with selected ranger spells.
Arcane Archer just adds a special effect on my arrows it doesn't have a range issue and right now my spells as a Ranger are absorb elements, Cure wounds, Disguise Self (class-given spell), Hunter's Mark, Slivery Barbs (from fey-touched), Speak with Animals (class-given spell), Zephyr strike, Beast sense (class-given spell), Misty Step (from Fey-touched), pass without a trace, Rope trick (class-given spell). Other than Hunter's Mark and Silvery Barbs Spell Sniper would not affect my spells at all.
Yes but the effects are magical - a case could be made to your DM that spell sniper should also apply to your arrows.the biggy with spell sniper is really the ending of disadvantage on casting in melee. Granted that should be in war caster but it’s not. And doubling the range of your silvery barbs and extending hunters mark to 150’ so it matches with your arrows isn’t bad either.

No such case could be made. The arrows are not spells.
To the OP: with your dex maxed, I’d stay away from piercer. It’s cool when it works, but often you’re looking at only adding a point or two.
From the choices you gave, resilient con could be good, bonus to saves, help with the rangers many concentration spells. And I personally love the flavor of gift of the chromatic dragon, but you probably have a lot of stuff competing for your bonus action already. Alert is ok, but there’s a point where your bonus is so high is meaningless. Like going from, for example, a 12 to a 17, it’s rare that it would matter. Skulker could be an interesting choice. A lot would depend on the campaign, though.
I'm just your everyday dungeon master. Ignore that jar full of souls. And those bones in the corner are just props, don't worry. I'm definitely NOT a lich. Definitely.
Yes, I like beholders. Yes, I curated an exquisite personality for commoner #2864. Yes, my catchphrase is "are you sure?"
Ritual caster druid can get certain ranger spells a level earlier and unlocking rituals can save spell slots for combat because alot of the utility ones are rituals.
If you don't care for the out of combat options alert or elven accuracy or skunked would probably get the most mileage.

Personally, I would take alert, because going first is great, especially with ambusher. also maybe consider magic initiate.

Which one looks like the most fun to you?
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.

Update I took Con Resilient and it's helped me on so many con saves the last 2 sessions
