Hi folks,
I'm both a new player and new to the foums, so please let me know if this belongs in a different forum.
I'm playing a Ranger, now level 3. On my D&D beyond character sheet, it shows that I have +12 to hit with a longbow, and I'm trying to figure out where that number comes from.
I know that I get:
+2 from proficiency bonus
+2 from Dexterity (15)
+2 from the Archery fighting style.
So that's +6. Where did the other +6 come from?
Thanks!
Please edit your character and head to the class tab.
Go to the fighting style and change it from "Archery" to "-" and keep doing so until it stays on "-"
Now set it to "Archery"
Head back to your character sheet.
There's a weird synchronicity issue that can cause this, usually if the character was edited in multiple browser tabs.
