So I forgot that the Cloistered Scholar background existed (because SCAG) until I recently started writing up my new character for Candlekeep Mysteries. Does anyone have any idea how the background feature ("Library Access") should work, given the specific ways that Candlekeep is laid out to function in the book? I'm speaking specifically of the throwaway line: "free and easy access to the majority of the library".
I've read through the location-specific preamble of the book because I'll be DMing some of the adventures. It's for an AL-legal campaign with rotating DMs, which is why I'd like an opinion beyond "whatever the DM thinks".
