My character is a 5th Level Paladin. I used the Find Steed spell to summon a celestial warhorse that understands the Common language. I have not mounted it. Can someone else use their Command spell on my steed?
For example, if I am fighting another player (or a DM's NPC), can this player cast 'Command' on my steed and make it flee on its next turn if the steed fails its wisdom saving throw? Or does it only obey me even though it understood the language spoken to it by the other player?
Great! It would be hilarious to command the steed while I'm mounted on it. I'll be sure to keep this idea to myself in the next session. ;) Thank you so much for the reply!

Yeah, find steed doesn't have any effect making the steed immune to spells, so command would work as intended.
You didn't mention it in your scenario, but it would work after you mount it too.
There's nothing in the spell description which says it does exactly what you want - check the wording of Find Familiar for such.
