So, in an ongoing campaign the following questions have come up, and I can't seem to find any actual discussions about how the rules work. I am wondering if anyone here has any links or suggestions on where to find answers to any of the following, preferably from a legitimate source related to the rules (i.e. Jeremy Crawford, WoTC ect)
1. If a druid is wild-shaped into a giant spider, and uses their web ability to restrain NPC-A, then NPC-B damages the spider enough to cause the druid to change back into themselves, is NPC-A still webbed? basically - do persistent effects persist, or do they go away with the form?
2. Given question 1 - what about non-effects related to the creature? For example, if pieces were //cut off// the beast shape, but not enough to destroy the form. Could they be eaten for food? (don't ask. This game is getting really dark and gritty fast) And if they were eaten, when the druid changes back does that mean the food was never eaten?
3. What about eggs/milk products that could be produced by a beast form? Would by-products of a beast form remain after the druid shifted back?
Just addressing #3: a druid can remain in a wildshape for a number of hours equal to half their druid level, rounded down. In real life, it takes 24 hours or more for a hen to produce an egg, and a cow or similar milk-producing species has to give birth in order to start producing milk. So no eggs or milk within the time frame of a wildshape.

#1 - the web remains since it was created by the spider. Other persistent effects might remain, it depends if they require concentration.
#2 - a DM will decide, but the cut off bits probably disappear?
#3 - no rules about that, so ask the DM.
