hi just curious I have a lvl 5 rouge no feats yet but if i was to carry a rapier in my main hand and a dagger or short sword in my off hand would i still get the bouns attack with my off hand i know it works with 2 short swords just curious
If you want to use Two-Weapon Fighting, then both of the weapons you attack with have to have the light property, which rapiers do not. The only exception to this is the Dual Wielder feat, with removes the light restriction.
Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.

As above users have said, unless you have the Dual Wielder feat, you can only dual wield two weapons with the light property if you want to make an "off-hand" attack with your bonus action as well. If you wanted to though, you could dual wield with two shortswords or two daggers (though the latter combination deals less damage) without taking any feat.

thanks for any help.
Does rapier have the light attribute?
Edit: no, it only has Finesse.
So it is not allowed for use with the base two-weapon fighting (you'd need the dual wielder feat).

No to make an offhand attack you need ot carry 2 LIGHT weapons As it says here (and a rapier does not have the light property.
You need the duel wielder feat to do this (then you can actually have two rapiers)
What they⬆️ said.
Also: *rogue. (Rouge is a shade of red, a red makeup, and a sexualized bat from Sonic).

HERE.thanks all for the info
But everyone else just repeated what I said ;-)
Not true. You didn't mention sexy bats.
I repeated what you said in a different order and added one slightly relevant detail. Asking any more of me would be too much:)
