hello guys, I am making a homebrew race and I need to find out what average speed I'm going for with my species, but I don't know what the walking speed is based on is it 30 feet per sec or min or hour or day? Please help I have no Idea.
For a speed of 30 feet, it means that in combat, on your turn, you can move a distance up to your speed or twice as much if you use the Dash action.
Every round is about 6 seconds. But if you are looking for out of combat travel pace then it's different rules Basic Rules for Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) Fifth Edition (5e) - D&D Beyond (dndbeyond.com)
Fast 400 feet/minute feet 4 miles/hour 30 miles/day
Normal 300 feet/minute 3 miles/hour 24 miles/day
Slow 200 feet/minute 2 miles/hour 18 miles /day
