It depends slightly on the context; claws are used to make a melee weapon attack, but unless a feature specifically describes them as “natural weapons”, they can’t be affected by anything that specifically interacts with a weapon, such as Divine Smite.

No objects in D&D are distinct from creatures. If you have claws or horns they are part of you and are therefore not objects.
There does seem to be a terminology is moving away from natural weapons for example
Legacy Tortle
"Your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes."
MotM Tortle
"You have claws that you can use to make unarmed strikes."
