My two cents: Spells are created through the manipulation of the spellweave. This is done, by most classes, by physical gestures, materials, and verbal components. Psionics think it and bends the weave. But they are still considered spells because you are dispelling the magic at the weave. So yes. it would affect most spells created with psionics. Things like healing after spending psi points on a mystic are a body adapting to the use of psionics and have nothing to do with the weave so stuff like that wouldn't be dispelled. So in short, I think Inquisitive is right.

You only lose if you die. Any time else, there's opportunity for a come back.
Depends on the sort of psionic ability, I'd think. There are a lot of charm-like effects that certain psychic-themed monsters use that specifically say they are canceled out by Protection from Evil and Good or Dispel Evil and Good. I assume that such spells are more meant to sort of "cast off" possession or similar effects.

Agree that psionics, once cast, are just like normal spells and can be dispelled by Dispel Magic. Something about spellweaves and the nature of the magical universe like Pseudoimmortal says. However, it is worth noting that psionics are generally cast with no components (V, S or M) and that this means they cannot be countered with Counterspell according to the most robust interpretation of those rules I have read.

What spell dispel psionic? Dispel Magic work in psionic?
Dispel Magic works on spells. If a monster casts a spell with psionics, it's dispellable. If a psionic ability isn't a spell, it's not dispellable.
