The Artificer - Artillerist - Eldritch Cannon has a choice of Wheel's or Legs when created, but no Movement Speed. Was it an oversight, or are they decorative?
If An Artillerist wants to move their Eldritch Cannon autonomously, it looks like the Artillerist needs to Activate the Cannon (with whatever effects that entails) and use their Bonus Action.
2024 Arcane Cannon/Actov
Activate Cannon (Requires You to Be within 60 Feet of the Cannon). As a Bonus Action, you order the cannon to use the Flamethrower, Force Ballista, or Protector option below; you can direct the cannon to move up to 15 feet before or after that option:
It's not a Creature, it's an Object. As such, it can't take normal actions. If it was a Creature (and Constructs are creatures), it would have a Movement speed. The "Activate Cannon" Artificier Ability appears to be the only way to get it to Move by itself. So if you want to move your Flamethrower Eldritch Cannon from your kitchen to your drawing room, you should probably go over there and pick it up.
(edit: I'd forgotten that the 2024 Eldritch Cannon doesn't require you to decide which of the options it has upon creation; any Cannon can do all three, so in that case, just use the Protector option when moving it if you don't want to set the kitchen on fire or force bolt the butler.)
The text for the 2014 version of the Eldritch Cannon says essentially the same thing:
When you create the cannon, you determine its appearance and whether it has legs. You also decide which type it is, choosing from the options on the Eldritch Cannons table. On each of your turns, you can take a bonus action to cause the cannon to activate if you are within 60 feet of it. As part of the same bonus action, you can direct the cannon to walk or climb up to 15 feet to an unoccupied space, provided it has legs.
It doesn't have a movement speed because it's not a creature and cannot move on its own. Per the feature description, you can direct it to move up to 15 feet as part of activating it, either before or after activation.
This is the same way the old version worked.

As the power that I've found erupts freely from the ground, I will cackle from the top of the world.🎵
