We've only had one session, but I'm like... Am I going to be overpowered? I look at the rules for Net (https://www.dndbeyond.com/equipment/net) and I'm like...this seems like an awfully easy way to get most opponents to lose a round. Yeah, I have to raise my DEX and get some skill in mending nets, because they're gonna get torn up. But still, shouldn't there be like a Reflex save at a significant minus or something?
Does anyone have experience playing this kind of character? Is it overpowered?
Yeah, this feat might be a bit over powered. Though it does require you to carry a few extra nets.
I would remove the bonus to range at least.
Thanks for this!
When you say remove the bonus to range, does that mean don't increase the range to 30 ft from 15 ft? Or does that mean leave the player with disadvantage for attacks further than 5 ft away?

I was refering to the 30 feet (with no disadvantage even).
The 5 feet no disadvantage is fine.

Hey all:
I'm in a game and my DM is letting me use your Net Mastery homebrew: https://www.dndbeyond.com/feats/89493-net-mastery
