As the title states, I'm wondering if there is some way to activate crimson rite on two weapons in a single turn? I can't seem to find any methods, so am I missing something or is this just not a thing you can normally do? Also would it be too broken to activate a second crimson rite as an action?
If you can't, then you have to spend two turns activating the rites before you can start making two weapon attacks per turn. I feel like this really limits the potential and appeal of dual wielding with a blood hunter.
To be fair, activating two rites removes the same number of attacks regardless of the turn count. Attacking once and activating a rite on both turn 1 and turn 2, then twice moving forward is the same damage loss as attacking nunce on turn 1 and twice on turn 2 forward. You lose two swings either way, and one could argue that past level 5, losing your main action to dual-rite means you lose more damage, since you're giving up an extra attack to dual-rite.
I'd argue that part of being an effective blood hunter is knowing when to rite and when not to. if the fight isn't going to last much more than three or four rounds? Maybe don't bother with the second rite - light up your chief weapon or even leave the rite off altogether and just fight. You'll save on self-inflicted damage that way as well. If you're looking at a real humdinger where every point of damage counts, or fighting shit resistant to nonmagical damage (or weak to one of your rites), then dual-rite over the course of a couple of turns.
Sacrificing your vitality to punish your foes doesn't have to be an every-scuffle occurrence.

I don't see any way of activating 2 rites at once. That does seem to limit two-weapon fighting for bloodhunters.
