In the new Eberron book I’m looking at the half elf mark of Detection and it gives +2 to wisdom, yet all it’s abilities are intelligence based and in the UA version it gave bonus to intelligence. Is that a misprint or am I missing something?
Well if you look closer, the only ability where INT actually matters is when adding a d4 to investigation checks. The innate spells use INT, but the spells don't rely on their ability. And that is it. I doubt it is a mistake, just unusual.
I just double-checked the source files for you and it's correct - the race does indeed gain a +2 bonus to Wisdom and use Intelligence as its spellcasting ability.
I don't understand in the UA it's +1 to Int and +1 Cha and +1 to the ability of your choice. When and were did the mark of detection switch to +2 Wis? I'm looking through everything I can find and so far everything I've read is matching up to the +1 Int and Cha. Thanks in advance!

Well thanks for double checking it still seems super odd to me but at least I know it’s intentional.

UA is unpublished, unofficial play test material. If it’s in a published book, the book supersedes the UA.
And by extension, everything you didn't have to pay for to read if the wrong version.
