The weapon attack of Booming Blade is part of the Action to cast the spell, and the Quicken Spell Metamagic changes the casting time of a Spell from an Action to a Bonus Action.
So yes, yes you can, as long as you both cast Booming Blade and spend the Sorcery Points to make it a Bonus Action.
But using Sorcery Points on a Cantrip is a bit of a waste.
Does using quicken spell on booming blade allow me to swing as my bonus action and then use my attack action?
Came across this in making a character.

Thanks bro. I've made a charcter that has thunder and lightning powers. I know it might be a waste but it adds cool points to the rp for me.
Appreciate you clearing it up for me
Not bad if you multiclass with Hexblade, though.

I was thinking tempest cleric. Were you thinking hexblade for any reason other than using CHA for weapon?
And the hexing abilities. Two attacks in a round is very good at low levels, even if it costs sorcery points.
