A Kenku Druid knows druidic obviously. Is it as simple as understanding it and not being able to speak it? I feel like if it was taught to him during his "initiation" into being a druid he would've heard it spoken and therefore be able to speak it. I needs help.
You can mimic sounds you have heard, including voices. A creature that hears the sounds you make can tell they are imitations with a successful Wisdom (Insight) check opposed by your Charisma (Deception) check.
Languages
You can read and write Common and Auran, but you can speak only by using your Mimicry trait.
So it can't, technically, speak druidic, but it can mimic it. It would just do so using the voice of its teacher
Yeah, the whole "Kenku can't speak, only mimic" thing basically just means they don't have a unique voice, but can speak using any voice they've ever heard.
Imagine when speaking druidic the Kenku is mimicking other druids they have heard, also integrating mimicked sounds of nature that a fellow Druid would understand the significance of.
They are able to communicate almost as quickly and effectively as any other Druid, they just sound a bit different.

Okay cool. That's...weird. But at least now I know.

That's my hot take on it anyway.
A Kenku can learn to understand languages just like anyone else. But that doesn't change the fact that they can't speak them except by mimicry.
DICE FALL, EVERYONE ROCKS!
