You can find the Basic Rules over here. (You can get to them at any time by clicking on Sources in the top menu.) They contain all the rules you'll need as a player to play the game. For now, reading the Introduction section will give you a good sense of how D&D is played. You can pick up the rest of the rules as you play. There's also a New Player Guide on the top menu that contains very similar info.
Watching other people play is also a great way to learn about the game quickly. You can look up Acquisitions Inc, Critical Role or Sirens of the Realms. There's tons of other podcasts but those are the ones I know off the top of my head. Keep in mind everyone plays D&D slightly differently and playing in front of a live audience isn't exactly the same as playing at home.

Hi there! I know little to nothing about the ins and outs of dnd and was wondering if there was anyone willing to teach me at least the basics.
You'll want to read the basic rules. They are free online. Google it.
Read the basic rule and watch some youtube. After that come back for more detailed information.
