Why is it the classes who prepare their spells get them automatically added to their list without it taking up a chosen spell thing, where as the ones who can only change their spells a limited number of times have to actively add it to their list and take up one of their precious few chosen spells? Wouldn't it make more sense for it to be the other way around?
what? The bonus spell lists are just that. Adding extra spells to what the classes can pick from. Why in the world would the Druid who prepares spells daily have to pick a limited number of these spells to permanently add to their list, but the bard that only gets a certain number of known spells gets all 15? That makes no sense.
The bonus spell list is extra spells available to the class. That is all they are. That means that the known/prepared spells mechanics do not change for the class.
I'm confused. What is the actual question? Warlock is the only class that doesn't have subclass bonus spells automatically added to spell list. Ranger, sorcerer, and all prepare casters (except wizard) can always cast bonus spells. Bard subclasses don't get bonus spell lists (afaik).
