If I have flame weapon cast and Im using it to attack does that mean my echo is also using it? He may not be using the spell but an echo of the spell????

Sadly, no. The ability to make echo attack is tied to attack action.

• When you take the Attack action on your turn, any attack you make with that action can originate from your space or the echo’s space. You make this choice for each attack.

And flame blade is its own action to attack.

You can use your action to make a melee spell attack with the fiery blade. On a hit, the target takes 3d6 fire damage.

If you can get shadow blade that would work.
